    Stuff we use:
CAMERA - This is the camera we have used to film 90+% of our interviews (over 200 interviews and counting) It continues to be our workhorse - amzn.to/2u66V1J
LENS - Most people ask us what camera we use, no one ever asks about the lens which filmmakers always tell us is more important. This lens was a big investment for us and one we wish we could have made sooner. Started using this lens at the end of 2013 - amzn.to/2tbtmOq
    AUDIO
Rode VideoMic Pro - The Rode mic helps us capture our backup audio. It also helps us sync up our audio in post amzn.to/2t1n2hx
Audio Recorder - If we had to do it all over again, this is probably the first item we would have bought - amzn.to/2tbFlM9
LIGHTS - Although we like to use as much natural light as we can, we often enhance the lighting with this small portable light. We have two of them and they have saved us a number of times - amzn.to/2u5UnHv
COMPUTER - Our favorite computer, we each have one and have used various models since 2010 - amzn.to/2t1M67Z
EDITING - We upgraded our editing suite this year and we’re glad we did! This has improved our workflow and the quality of our work. Having new software also helps when we have a problem, it’s easy to search and find a solution - goo.gl/56LnpM

I always admired Mr. Duke as an actor but I never knew he was a genius. He is giving valuable information in this interview.

Bill's IQ must be off the charts. He's very intelligent.

  • @bieddruhuggyfalsaperla5447

He never tells his masters' names other than Doo Wai and Garry Hearfield, or lists the styles he's studied. But Bill Duke is my favorite Sifu to date. He's an amazing martial artist to this day.

Bill Duke is so much more than the roles he plays. I guess an actor has to be. His presence on the screen is so commanding that I imagine if he had been cast in The Wire he would have taken over the entire show.

rejected every otghger day for 9 years?!?!?! then you're a glutton for punishment! Whether or not you think you look good, can do whatever role or should be liked is irrelevant, especially if the same folk are rejecting you/making a mockery of you.
I forgot to mention that there are those that reject people for sadistic reasons that come with a certain outcome. No one should engage or keep the company of anyone that intentionally rejects them in order to see them suffer. Something in you should click after the 2nd or 3rd time that drives you to do otherwise. Who would set themselves up for that level of suffering at the hands of strangers?!? jeeeez

Our greatest leaders have died poor. The very reason they were poor.Being a great leader, person or individual has nothing to do with your external success ; because that only determines the outlook of character. I don't down people for going after what they want. But don't cry struggle when your the only one doing good in the bunch.......

I have family who work in the industry. Producers, extras, and set production. Most of the people in the industry, as in any other industry, are normal and down-to-earth. There are some arrogant and demanding people in the industry just like any other industry. Clayne Crawford of Lethal Weapon lost his job for that.

People come back to people and act like nothing never happened for many reasons. Sometimes the folk will give a good performance hoping that you'll forget what they did, being that they want to start a new leaf and go in a direction that is positive. Personally I can't accept those types with open arms, but everyone is different. I'm sure that working in the business has most adapt to saying it ain't nothing and receiving said person based on the situation and what they probably could do for them. But in every day life, most can't afford to receive and entertain those that have rejected, betrayed or abuse them. It's just not acceptable, unless the person is desperate.

@boom boom But when one hears or reads the sentence Mr. Duke (or Shakespeare, for that matter) makes, ones mind stretches and understands. Is it fair that the listener expands and reader does not?

the idea that there is one stage to perform is a business model that promotes power to the one who owns the stage... the world has over 10 billion people.....with at least 1$ to pay for your performance. Find another stage or MAKE your own stage.
