I saw that cast member on the left turn on her crowd control wand on the word "lights," along with the parade itself @ 2:23! lol! She's having fun. I love it!
Red wands are different then the yellow or white wands used for crowd control. Red wands are actually float directors. They’re required to have them on when floats are active, and they officially go active when they turn on at “lights”. The point of that specific red wand is to make sure the drivers know the curb is there and that’s where they need to take a left. It can be slightly difficult to see out of the cabs with the lights in front of them, so that red light is extra bright to show where to turn!

I have decided that although I have never been to Disney land in my life it is certainly a very long way to walk from one end to the other. I think all these parades are amazing and brilliant. I love watching them all. Thank you Disney. 😊❤🎉
It takes about 20 mins to walk the parade route
@@zachj9359 I'm surprised it takes that long to wal 1/4 mile
@@disneydanny2the floats move pretty slow, it usually takes about 15-20 mins for any given float to go from start to finish.
@@zachj9359 I seem to remember reading somewhere they go about 9 mph, idk if that's *TOP* speed or *Performance* speed though.
@@disneydanny2 I know they run it slower then it’s top speed. They tend to run even slower then usual during special events like first and last of the season performances, special anniversaries or soft opens, etc.

I could be mistaken but I *THINK* they replaced the old MSEP fireworks lighting in Small World Holiday with these, correct?

What happened to the American flag at end?
The "To Honor America" float was replaced between 2019 and 2022. The float was stripped of lights and reworked as the new "It's a Small World" float that can be seen after Elliot in the video. The new float has the same float base as To Honor America and features new small world themed dolls and new LED lights.
