    I reckon that intro chord has an extra D root note = X50505, using your 3rd 4th and 5th fingers, similar to the pattern of the open B7 chord X21202 (but obviously no index finger on the 5th string)

    Marty, Thank God you're here - my previous band tried to work out the 7/8 time, and we couldn't do it- it sounded ok 8/8, but the whinging musos kept on that we had to do it in 7/8. Like who in the audience would really care - it's such a great song anyway, and we played it 8/8 and it sounded fine. So, now you've explained it so well, there's no more need to worry. Gracias mi amigo!

    Hey Marty, Nice video. Very clear on the parts.
    I would suggest counting the 7/8 section 1-2-3-1-2-3-4 (instead of 1-2-3-4-1-2-3). That way it is synched with the 12th fret melody starting its second go round on beat 4. Might make for easier rehearsals when teaching the parts to other band members.

    • @neilconaty7429
      @neilconaty7429 Před 5 měsíci

      Also, first chord sounds like (A to high E) 0-0-5-0-5 on the first, fourth and seventh eighth notes then 5-0-5-0-5
