Sure is a "handy-dandy " little "lift-tote-a-matic". The self-level linkages makes a great attribute. The "roll-back" needs to be "tweeked" by advancing the bottom pivot point & maybe some amplifying bucket-linkage assembly's. This "was" a Roper tractor before Montgomery-Ward re-branded it. " They" 96% don't make them this good any more- let alone made to LAST 50 YEARS! Got's me a herd of "horses" --Wheelhorse's of course; they are 55-25years young & 75% of the "Herd" still performs wonderfully. No loaders yet. Thanks for the inspirations & great Vidio Sir & happy safe tractoring.

It is a factory loader, made by Gilson Brothers for Montgomery Wards. It came with the tractor when I bought it, on Craigslist of course.

Nice little rig and could be very handy. The only improvement would be in the bucket design. It should be deeper and tilt back more. But I think one could alter that issue. They sure had a good idea here.

Thank you for making this video. I very much enjoyed learning about your small tractor loader. It is a beauty as far as I am concerned.

    Awesome tractor and loader.
Regarding the video, very good presentation of the equipment and features, without annoying musics, just the original sound. All that is a big Thumbs up in my book. Keep up the good work. ;-)
    Cheers

Really neat design front end loader. I've never seen before. Reads like a Garden Mark? Do you know who made? Looking around quick on Google I'm not finding anything related to. Planning to make the front end loader and back hoe for the John Deere 240 I'm modifying into a Ford 320 SVT and the Ford YT16 that's a Gilson stock design I'm beefing up. The JD will be the hydraulic platform and the YT will be the electronic platform for actuation and control. I plan to make the front end loader the articulating bucket design since isn't that much more work to do. I also like your quick release bucket design and plan to do the same since the other main project is using an old 42" single stage John Deere snow thrower auger for a cement mixer. Basically flipping the blower upside down and actuating a chute slide valve to open and close for flowing on the bottom straight out or through a tube. Nice work platform idea also... will have to keep in mind. Thanks for sharing!

Hi. The tractor came that way. I believe it was factory. I don't recall how the mechanism allowed the different inputs. And I have since sold the unit so I can't study it now.

The quick change bucket setup was built by the previous owner and was a modification to the factory loader. I didn't meet the man himself but bought it from his son after he had passed away. He must have been a clever fellow and I hope somehow he is able to get some satisfaction that so many people have enjoyed his creation.
