Just take the whole brake caliper bracket off and you don’t have to remove the pads or anything, as long as you don’t press the brake pedal they will go back on easily
Do you run spacers in the back? Since the front pop out more. I do want to avoid spacers. Unless I can run a wider tire in the back only to match the front. 😅
The guy at rough country lift kit told me I couldn’t put the spindle lift kit on my truck like yours i’ve just had it sitting in my closet in a month ago put it on :)
Did you struggle any on the passenger side doing the same thing on my truck we have the same exact truck I'm doing 3 inch coil spacers and 3 inch spindles. my passenger side has to much pressure on it when I bolted my spindle on and let the lower control arm down it broke my brand new moog ball joint on the upper control arm. Had to compresse the spring down in the Truck to even get the spindle to bolt up when I did and let the jack down it broke the brand new ball joint completely. Any idea or tips would be a blessing
Doing this soon currently stock in the front and 2 inch drop in the back with 0 blocks am gonna be lifting the front with the spindles and putting stock leaf shackles back on and gonna beef up the leafs but still run no blocks my question to u tho is are u running blocks currently
Did it push your front wheels out? I was wondering if you was going to need spacers to make the rear even with the front I’ve heard it pushes the front wheels out but wasn’t sure
@@williamclark3674 i lifted my 98 c1500 4inch lift spindles and it pushed my front tires out almost 2 inches so I got 2 inch hub centric borla spacers on the back my kit is rough country

I need to know if the 2wd kits work on 4wd trucks cuz for an 05 Tahoe maxtrac does not make 4wd spindles & I don’t want RC
I’m doing the 3in spindles on my 04 Cateye but the front shocks aren’t long enough what was done by you to make them work ?
Thanks

Why he said you couldn’t put it on? Lol
is it 2wd, and do u have cast steel uppers?

good work man... doing this on my sons ram 1500 3'' spindles
Thanks
Jack Stands Bro!
Were you running the spindles and coil spring spacer ??
What tire size are those? What tires are you planning on buying?
never seen suspension parts come off so easily 😂 clearly this was taken apart beforehand, if it wasn't you need to bolt check that truck
Did you have to put longer front shocks?
Usually for 3 inch and down the spindle is same size physically just moves the hub location down on the spindle itself so no other parts.
Did you have to get a alignment and if so did it fix the tire from wearing on the outside
Where’d you order your drl ?
I’m about to get a 4.5 inch lift so that’s a 3 inch spindle
What the purpose for lifted spindles want to maybe put it on a tahoe 07 4wd wit 3.5 struts or do I need them or naw?
So my question was did you need to change the shocks and Springs but I guess not
Will be doing this on my silverado, did you change springs? Or shocks?
Ended up putting some rough country shocks for a better ride

I gotcha
Did you need longer brake lines?
No I didn’t
Had me at packing the dip. Required equipment for vehicle work. You gotta lift the back. Squat life applies to the gym, not trucks 🤣

a cool thing a learned to prevent the hub from falling off is to leave the nut on the bolt to catch it so it doesn't fall on you.
Can I do this with stock keys ?
Is the only thing you changed is the spindle it’s self on Both sides, and that’s it ?

don’t be coming at me or nun i’m 14, but you can’t run em on a 4wd can you?
You can but you’ll have to take out the CV axels out & replace the hub bearings to 2wd ones
now for some lift springs
maybe so
I got 3 inch spindles and 3 inch keys on my Tahoe throw u some bigger keys on there to bro it’ll sit
