    You are right, that's why I use the Yamaha HS5's in my little studio, but I do have the Yamaha sub that goes with it. I needed just a bit more but I am barely using the sub, just enough to get a full range.

      Thanks Bill. After using it to edit this video, I’m really happy with the audio quality. Now I don’t have to turn on my Eris E8 all the time

    Hello, nice review! How do you think they compare to other 4"s like the Mackie cr4 the jbl 104 or the Presonus eris4.5?

    Hello, can you tell what is the bluetooth codec on this speakers?
    I got no mention about it on their website.
    Thank you

    Thanks, nice monitors. I have a small studio in my basement room is about 10' by 15' with some storage in it and I was thinking about a pair of 5" powered monitors the Monoprice (605500) and trying not to have to get a sub. They have great reviews, wondering if they would be too small for that size room and if I should look at 6" or 8" monitors. I will be mostly listening to music, the audio output of my computer and checking the audio on my CZcams video before I upload them. They will be on my Behringer Q1002USB Mixer Main outputs. Any thoughts?
    Edit:
    P.S. I got Cakewalk, I saw your video and went and downloaded it right away. I am using Audacity now, I'll have to learn a lot before I switch... Thanks for the information and great videos, I've leaned a lot...

      These 4" speakers would suit just fine, as long as you don't expect deep bass pumping audio. For pop, rock and less bass music genres, will do just fine.

    Blessings I was thinking about getting a pair of these speakers..
    And I said let me do a review first and I ran into your tutorial.. great review.. I'm a young artiste from Jamaica.. I do reggae music and dancehall.. I also produce my onw music, I have a home studio.. but I need my songs to come out with more high quality.. I'm asking in your honest opinion do u think these speakers will work for me.. interms of mixing and mastering?? Please

    • @RecordingStudio9
      @RecordingStudio9  Před 5 lety

      It all depends on your room size and speaker position. 4" will not give you deep bass, unless you also add a 8" or 10" active-sub.

    Which would you recommend between these and the Pioneer DM40 for Deep House and Hiphop production in a bedroom studio?

    • @RecordingStudio9
      @RecordingStudio9  Před 5 lety

      I have no experience with the DM40, but these are great, but don't expect any low bass as any 4" or even 6" won't go down any lower than 70Hz or 60Hz, if that. You can always add a sub later.

    hello i would like to ask you a questions. i have this monitors but while im listening to techno/house music which contains some bass when i go higher then %50 volume i hear some kind of distortion but to hear it have to go behind the speakers. i dont know if you get what i mean, its more like a trim sound. do you have the same thing or not?

    • @RecordingStudio9
      @RecordingStudio9  Před 3 lety +1

      These speakers don't have much response to low and loud music content. They are only 4" big. You may need a sub to hear lower frequency audio.

    • @berkeec
      @berkeec Před 3 lety

      RecordingStudio9.com so you mean that its normal to hear some trim sounds on the back of the speakers if i play more than %50 loud music with bass?

    Will this be good for playing guitar through an interface ?

    • @RecordingStudio9
      @RecordingStudio9  Před 3 lety

      Well, not really, you better off with guitar Amp and speakers. But yes, you can.

      Thanks for watching.Yes, I need to tilt them up. But since they are going to be used mainly during editing, it's not critical.
