katherine - her whole family was murdered and for her whole life she was afraid of getting killed so she never stopped running

Nah, cuz if they're too bad without any redeeming qualities for too long then they just became hated by everyone n ppl will just want them to die. He could have been redeemed JUST enough but kept his personality quirks, humor, and sudden violent tendencies when someone deserved it.
He was the toughest villain in the entire TVD not because he was barbaric and monstrous but because his wickedness and cold hearted evilness was extremely well disguised in his siring attractive personality and the cute heartwarming sarcastic hotness 🌝

Bonnie is a very strong-headed character and I wouldn't see someone like her forgiving Kai no offense. Prob Elena and Caroline but not Bonnie. She is very protective and has trust issues, rem. in s01 when it took her forever to trust Stefan or when Damon bit her and she was so scared. Imagine that times 1000. I still believe TVD failed to use Kai Parker to his full potential. Character and story wise he could have been involved in such a huge part of the overall story and he was killed off too early (even though he was trapped but you know what I mean) in the show.

@@enylecoj7 she lost her entire family, besides her brother, at a young age. everyone always went after her, and she always felt guilty because everyone was protecting her, she tried to sacrifice herself many times. calling her weak isn't exactly the best word. just imagine that pain. as for the annoying part, sometimes yes, just like any other character. everyone's annoying at some point. i've seen the series around 10 times and at first that's how i saw her too, but now i understand her and i understand everything better.
