I have been watching your videos off and on all day and every journal is so GREAT! This one is brilliant! I am also following your Tips series and want to thank you so much for all info. I feel as if I am learning so much! I must admit I felt tears on my cheeks when you spoke of your mother's health issues last year and was happy to read when she was doing better. I hope this is still true. I love your videos. You sound warm and friendly and are so clear with your instructions. Please forgive the length of my "comment" but just felt I needed to let you know how much joy you have brought to me. Thanks again!
I appreciate that so much. Mom is doing so so. Her memory has started to go, but I'm sure it's from all the falls she's taken. She says she's happy and content where she is, so I have to be content with that. Thanks for asking Patty.

Wow, wow, terrific job Cheryl! Love the scanning of your creations and reproducing and the photoshop postcard and other crations. Love the scuffing of the playing card and live the frontage and simmer and tea stain everywhere. Love the idea of almond extract because almond way more than vanilla extract. And thanks for giving Rita Donnelly some mention as the creator of the secret message pocket fold!
I do try and give credit where credit is due. Sometimes that's hard if you are getting the inspiration third and fourth hand. So I am happy that someone knew who it was. Thanks for watching
I adore your videos - thank you so much for sharing your processes, tips and tricks in your beautiful, mellow voice. I am having a bit of a binge watching older videos and had to laugh today at this one just a little; I'm in Australia and where you have the inflated Canadian prices, we have what we affectionately and with humour call the "Australia Tax'. Anything that comes from overseas (which is the majority of all products) is hugely inflated in price due to both logistics costs and the awareness that we just have to pay whatever is asked if we want the product. I almost cry when I hear about Michaels or Joann's (tee hee).

I do know what you mean. We pay so much because most things come from the US. Our dollar is pretty bad right now, so we pay that difference, then crazy shipping costs, and sometimes duty after the parcel is delivered. Sometimes it just isn't worth it.

Another fantastic journal! I love the colour combination and some of the ideas. I haven't been able to craft for a few weeks as I am away from home and I am getting withdrawal symptoms. Never mind, I am working on a hand stitched quilt for my daughter. I began it when she was around 2 years old and she is now 35. I am determined to finish it by this coming Christmas. Back to the journal though; your videos are inspirational and I really look forward to them. I really must investigate how to re size images, it would be so useful. Like a previous comment, I too would love to hold and feel one of your journals they look so tactile. Take care Cheryl I will be on the look out for your next video.

Cheryl....... I can hear you telling me to just playaround a bit to see what happens. Haven't gotten my first journal done yet...but with your encouragement...I know it will be soon. Its great to add to my knowledge through your experiences. Pinterest is so much fun now that I know what to do with it....Still not quite got the hang of sizing a whole digikit page on the CraftArtist program.It seems I click and drag ,reclick and drag same part over alot (not 2 images...but 1 full page. Spent the whole afternoon trying to get it place correctly....self learning computer people.... GOTTA LOVE EM!!!! always a treat...Laurel

Fabulous Cheryl!!!!!!! I have received my TH dragonfly FINALLY!!!! and Maya gold, waiting now on my Frontage I ordered along with some other goodies!!! My next journal is going to be for me to keep track of all the "goodies" I want from watching CZcams video's and also to jot ideas, etc.....because I have to many notebooks and little pieces of paper where I take notes and then can't keep track....so if I make myself a journal, I may be more apt to keep track of it all better.

Hi Cheryl. Love this!!! Another Masterpiece, well done. Can you tell me the brand name of your Maya Gold? I've been looking for it everywhere and can't seem to find it. Maybe I've been looking for it in the wrong places, like in the oil painting sections, and where they sell acrylic paints. This is so lovely. TFS. I have tried using the frantage on my dragonfly. It's lovely. I have a feeling you have 2 sizzix butterfly dies. Do you get more use out of your big sizzix butterfly or the butterfly duo die?
I actually only own the duo. Someone sent me a few of the large one. I still think I would use the duo more, and for those times I want something bigger I would use the dragonfly

I'm a newbie and love how you speak to all craft levels with your videos :) Can you share what type of paper you are printing the printables on? Specifically your pages? I've read matte photo paper is good...but do you use an inkjet or laser as well? Thank you for sharing so many helpful videos. I'm making my way through your collection lol!
I use 32 lb matte photo paper with a Canon ink jet
