Such a shame what happened to this place.I know we cannot preserve everything but that was one of the places you wish. Lets hope other places get forgotten in the countryside so that they can still be enjoyed. Great account Chris
My old playground as a kid and a young adult , heard many noises voices up upwood base. Definitely active place glad to see it on CZcams alot. Sad to see it being took down. I work in hangar 2 now up there 😊
wish i could have got into the hangars during my visit...we managed the guardhouse, the MT section, The HQ, the 2 Nissen huts and a walk around - incredible place...so sad to see the vandalism though

can you legally visit here, im part of a paranormal team an would love too
i rather doubt it now, i had arranged access and was let through the locked gates, there has been lots of demolition since
