Currently one of the best cherries on the market, but that top spot is still readily available to be the best as I think improvements to this DNA can still be made.

Waited a long time to see you review Lost Cherry and you did not disappoint. I never picked up on the jammy rose note in it but I did get the jasmine. Thank you!

Sold!!! I haven't tried it but I trust your nose, now I'll wait to hear your take on the others but this one is right up my alley. The other three cherry fragrances that I've tried are: Gitti Duchesa, very good one, Cherry Punk from Room 1015, basically Cherry and leather and my obsession Mandorle from Sora Dora, I just can't get enough of that one, even though it's considered an almond fragrance, but the cherry is there, I get a cherry almondy leather liquor gasoline 😆 definitely in my top five of all time. I really enjoy long detailed videos, thank you Marc!!!

I tried this fragrance at Sephora and I really liked it, but it had almost disappeared from my skin before I left the store. That really disappointed me. For me, a fragrance doesn't have to last forever, but I sure have to be able to smell it for more than 20 minutes without me having to bury my nose into my skin.

Still haven't tried Lost Cherry. I've heard mixed things, but I need to go ahead and get a decant. I have gathered that you aren't the biggest ATH fan, but if there was one from him I would recommend, it would be Raw Cherry - very juicy and dark take on cherry. Ok, I gotta suggest his Onyx Extreme too, just because it's a top notch rose/oud. lol. The guy was truly on track to great things before he started catering to the dude bros.

I am in love with Tom Ford’s Lost Cherry. The cherry is there, but does try down to more floral. It’s still gorgeous and you can still smell the cherry(just not as strong). Has anyone tried the Tom Ford Lost Cherry body spray?

When I saw Enchanted Forest and a Aqua Allegoria (I knew it had to be Pamplelune), without even seeing the length, I knew this would be a vintage Robes08 video. I knew you had a lot to say, and indeed you did. Happy to see that Marc back! In terms of Lost Cherry itself, I have to admit it disappoints me a bit when it comes to wearability, especially considering the price tag. Nonetheless, Cherry Smoke appeared and completed the job. That to me smells like old school TFPB. I believe it is definitely on your list, and I can imagine you having a 40min video on that one.

Instant love the first time I sprayed it on. Within about 3 minutes I had that big wheel from The Price is Right spinning in my head...and it landed on $30. 😆 Not the most expensive of formulas. Beta Ionone, linalool, benzaldehyde, benzyl benzoate, some kind of musk, vanillin, an extra almond material, a touch of C-16, ethyl maltol, the list goes on, but Louise did a great job with blending the top and mid. The base just reminded me of Oajan. Coumarin and benzoin heavy. Ended up just getting a clone to layer with. Does well. But I tell ya, that big wheel ruins EVERYTHING. 🤣

I had blind bought this one few months ago and I can agree with pretty much everything you've said Marc. This is a good one, just not great so I'm happy that it is just 10ml travel spray, which should be enough for me to enjoy it every once in a while. I'd rather spend that $ on something like Pulp or Enchanted Forest, even though Lost Cherry is not bad at all.

    • @robes08

It's right there, just needed perhaps a little more time and they would have a classic.

I like this but the cherry leaves and all i get is powdery scent i do not care for. I still looking for cherry scent that keeps true to the fruit side.

Agree with the “great opening, disappointing drydown” sentiments. I feel like if they had done with this sorta what they did with Plum Japonais (which is a holy grail, for me), then Lost Cherry would have been better for it. That would probably have meant keeping the cherry note in the mix longer, and tightening up the mid/drydown with some heavier (slightly less sweet) notes that would have darkened it up a bit. The almond in Lost Cherry is great (and yes, very reminiscent to FF) , but I would have loved the “boozy” facet to go deeper (and stay longer) and “dirty it up” a bit like with PJ. To my nose, this could have made LC more “serious” (adult?) and more interesting throughout.

Marc, is this 2011? Classic Robes! This one is interesting to me but it wasn’t a love for me. For a Cherry-dominant scent, this certainly set off a cottage industry of clones, so it deserves praise for that, even if I felt the drydown was pretty bland!

My favorite cherry frag thus far. Could it be better yeah, is it still really good as is? Yeah. It’s a 9/10 for me. Just don’t pay retail for this.
