It's looking grim, though... Most large European teams have academies in the US for branding, but the chances of them pulling any player from them is almost literally ZERO. The level is just not there; or lightyears away from any competitive European or South American club's academy. There are thousands of Cavan Sullivans in Argentina only; and I'm sure the kid is well aware of that. Take Barcelona, for instance: they have trained 15 thousand kids on the West Coast of the US to this day. Guess how many travelled to La Masía for try-outs (and it's not zero).

There have only been a hand full of "greatest in the world" from Brazil compared to their population. It's not like the Brazilian league is just full of Ronaldinho's and Neymar's..
