  • In this video I take you along for a driving tour in Manchester, two days after our first significant winter storm of the season. The following week we experienced three snowstorms, each dropping nearly 6 inches of snow.

      Hey Cody do you know if claremont is a nice area to live? Or hillsborough? The homes are pretty reasonable.

      @@cathymolina9139 I've been to Claremont many times and I'm not a huge fan. It's somewhat run down and feels desolate. Hillsboro, Antrim, Henniker, Weare, Hopkinton and the surrounding towns is a much nicer area in my opinion.

      @Living in New Hampshire thank you very much. I was wondering why thr homes were so cheap.

      @@cathymolina9139 You're welcome. The real estate is very inexpensive compared to the rest of the state, but the property taxes are a lot higher.

      Bristol is a nice area, especially the homes surrounding Newfound Lake. I spent a lot of time there when I was growing up.

    Thanks, Cody. Very pretty to look at from a distance, lol. I will save this video to cool off during our Arizona summer..

      Interesting. That’s where I live, near La Cholla Blvd. and Hardy Rd. Do you get out here once in a while? Let me know if you want to meet up sometime.

    Another great video! I must say, you could have filmed this in my state. I drive through back roads like this quite a bit. In all seasons.

    Boy I wish I was there. No beautiful snow here, just lame, ugly palm trees (Florida)

      If you decide to visit, we generally receive snow through March. What part of Florida do you reside?

    How often does it look like that in winter? How often is it cloudy without son and how often does it snow?

    • @LivinginNewHampshire
      @LivinginNewHampshire  Před rokem +1

      Southern New Hampshire receives upwards of 60 inches of snowfall annually. So roughly 10 snow storms per season, which is what you saw in this video. (Some are very fluffy and others are wet and heavy snow.) As for sunny days, I'd estimate 3-4 days per week. With the other days being overcast. (It's definitely not the best place to live if you want a lot of sunshine.)

    Hi Cody, Is solar used in NH, I don't see any panel on the houses or is it not worth it ?

    • @LivinginNewHampshire
      @LivinginNewHampshire  Před rokem

      Great question. It's not very common, especially compared to the Sun Belt States. Our average sunshine each year is quite low. (Although utility prices have recently gone up a lot in NH.)
