- The Australian Government announced its budget for the year 2024-25. And as with any budget update, there is impact on international students and migrants.
In this video, we are covering details about the budget including:

I have enrolled into Griffith University Nathan campus for July intake 2024. I have applied my visa on May 20 (IDP consultancy). I showed ITRS of 12lakhs and savings of 35 lakhs. Can you please tell me my chances of visa?
Australia and Canada are on the cap move due to which Many students preferring Germany.
Students should choose based on their career preferences. 👍
In Germany anti immigration moment is much stronger than Canada and Australia because Middle Eastern refugees are on rampage with murders and rapes
@@overseasstudentsaustralia let's be honest atleast on comments. No one chooses Australia or Canada for actual education but for PR. Majority choose subjects for which PR is easy.

No, it is a kind of mixed bag.
I am planning to study in Australia. There is a limit of 24 working hours per week. But I am 17 and the minimum wage is low. And I would like to clean the windows, wash cars and do other household work and get paid in cash from owners.
Can it affect my student visa?

Yes, there is usually some increase on 1st July each year. Can't say how much, but they want to increase it quite high.

@AbdulMajeed-ot9md Yes, that was reported around $2500 AUD, which they seem to have dropped the idea for. It seems like it won't be that high.

I applied on 9th feb for student visa, still waiting .. after even getting visa couldn't get work permit due to new laws.. for 3 yrs I can study only..what next?? Can I extend my student visa ? I m doing bachelor in community services. Pls suggest.

Hello sir! I applied for my visa on 23rd april for masters in macquarie university but still no reply from the embassy. Any idea how long should i wait or expect for my visa?
They are taking much longer than usual for most of the level 2 universities. I had applied on March 01, still have not yet got a visa outcome. It might take 50 to 90 days

This is excellent news that international student numbers are being reduced. International students give little to the Australian economy and society. Expect numbers to be cut even more as people are pissed off and it's becoming an election issue.
Well thats because of work restriction. In fact if the goverment removes the working hour cap (only to those of skilled work like IT and medical), expect more growth in those industries and then the overall australian economy

@@charbelbassil7210 99% pays that money for PR not for studies. And government pays back many times more once student becomes citizen so its a loss to economy not gain! I know many loves to only show one side of the story
@@Enigma0071thats a lie. They pay just as much as normal people of Australia towards the economy if not more because they have skills that the current population might not have. Furthermore they pay a tonne towards study.
