For those who may not understand the tears: 14u is a pivotal year for those playing aau, this is usually the last year before aau teams that have played with each other since they were in elementary school break up. Once you get to high school, those who are talented enough are looking to get scholarships and the best way to do that is to play on one of the shoe circuits or for a shoe sponsored team (Nike Eybl, Adidas Gauntlet etc.). Its hard to keep teams together past middle school because the kids are being pulled many different ways by interests (coaches, parents, high school teammates, etc.). So you see a lot of programs who aren't directly sponsored cut their age limits off at 14u to avoid dealing with this. Its even more apparent with this team because all of these kids are from different parts of the country, so they know that this is probably the last time that they are going to play with each other.
If u ever had a real brotherhood wit your teammates... u definitely got emotional during this vid💯
