Rock in Rio in Brazil is between September and October, and it happens every two years. I was there in 2015, 2017 and 2019 ... AMAZING ♥ I'm Brazilian, but I don't live in Rio. You should definitely react to Imagine Dragons in 2019... I was there and it was CRAZY. Nickelback and Imagine Dragons in the same evening ♥

The city of rock changed a few years ago and now it is where the Olympics took place, it’s huge and there are several stages there, this is the main one.
I would love to see your reaction to more shows here in Brazil! Rock in Rio has so many iconic acts and it's an life-change event, in my perspective. And no, the place where the 1985 RIR is different; the first one was at the “Old Rock In Rio City”, in Jacarepaguá, Rio, it was a mess because it was in a region that flooded easily, and then they moved to the Maracanã Stadium in the 1990s, then in 2001 to a new location also in Jacarepaguá, but since 2010 it is in the New Rock in Rio City, not the same place as the old one, but it is close, but REALLY better equipped. Yes, it is almost like a city in a city because it has restaurants, stores, 2 big stages (Mundo and Sunset), many other smaller stages and an arena. If you search for the “Rock In Rio 2019 map”, you will see what it looks like today. I can't wait for the pandemic to end because I miss their shows so much 😭
3:43 Yes, Rock In Rio had some changes, 2011, 2013 and 2015 edition happened at "Parque do Atletas" since 2017 it was moved to a very near location, the same that was the 2016 Rio Olympics, The Olympic Park. It's a very large place and it's 3 or 4 times bigger now compared to the editions that happened at "Parque do Atletas". More space, more attractions, more stages. 100k crowd/day.
The 1985 edition was the first Rock In Rio, happened in a park that is near to those I said earlier. Went 250k people in Queen's gig, but now with more regulations and security laws that can't be achieved anymore.
Rock In Rio happens generally in September, 7 days, 1st week is Friday, Saturday and Sunday. 2nd week is Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Yes I love Panic at the disco, one of my fav bands and Brendon Urie one of fav vocalist. He isn't perfect but he has changed so much over the years if anyone deserves a redemption arc its him. Plus he is very talented vocalist and is underrated

You should probably check in addition to Anitta, who is a giant here, Luan Santana who has been the most played artist on our radio for a few years, and perhaps, some other Funk artists who are the most listened to musical style here in Brazil. Rock in rio is a 7 days event
Rock in rio it's not in a stadium. They build the all structure in a huge space in Rio every year. Not sure if the area has changed .

Rock in Rio has always been made in the same location, its a huuuuge place that brazil build to the olympics, its like 4 or 5 stadiums in the same place but we dont see the shows inside them, we see the show in the “garden” of this huge place, and we have 4 singers or bands playing at the same time in diferent parts of this “garden”, like i said its a HUGE place, you can search on google “ parque olímpico rio de janeiro “
I’m gonna be honest, it’s REALLY hard to choose the three biggest brazilian singers, ‘cause we have so many different genres of music around the country. I think it would be more fair to pick the three biggest singers of each genre, like pop, funk, sertanejo, forró, old mpb, new mpb, omg there are so many hahahahaha

The place that the concerts are held now is not the same one as Queen's performance, but it's almost just as big. It's not a stadium is kinda like a big open field with a bunch of different stages spread out. It's about 150.000 people I believe. Also Rock In Rio usually happens between September and October and I think it lasts for around 5 or 6 days

We also have Rock in rio in Lisbon and it was canceled last year (Camila Cabello and Black eyed peas)
The place where Rock In Rio happens it's not the same. From the beginning of Rock in Rio until 2015 it was in a place, where it was usually sold 50k or 75k tickets. For the Olympic Games in 2016, it was constructed the Olympic Park, when the Olympics ended they decided to move the Rock In Rio, where they now can put way more people (100k) :)
Rock in Rio has 7 days of festival, are two weekends! And our top 3 in numbers guess its Anitta, Marília Mendonça and Barões da Pisadinha at moment. But se have another super famous as Pabllo Vitar, Ludmilla, Iza, Matuê, Thiaguinho... any of them sings a different rythm tho
