I think the engine vibration won't reflect exactly in the seat since seat foam will absorb the vibration, instead you should place the water cup on the fuel tank and test.....

Meteor tank doesn't have flat area to place the cup steadily.. As it is in curved shape..naturally the cup will start to slip

भाई बोहोत खूब विडिओ, मे 2004 से सायकल के बाद सीधे re ही राईड करणे लगा, मुझे विंटेज std, electra 4s, electra 5s, machismo, thunder bird, classic 350 uce ये सब मेरी गाडिया अच्छी ही लगी, जहाँ तक व्हायब्रेशन का सवाल है, मे दिन मे 500 km तक सभी मॉडेल राईड कर चुका हू, मुझे कभी कोई प्रॉब्लेम नही हुई, अब ये अच्छा है के व्हायब्रेशन कम हुआ है, पर अगर कम नहीं होता तो क्या असली re लवर गाडी नहीं लेता, जो re का असली प्रेमी है उसे कोई फरक नहीं पडता, आपका उद्देश बोहोत अच्छा है, व्हायब्रेशन पर बेस्ट विडिओ बनाया आपने, re ने बोहोत बढिया काम किया है, मे सबसे ये विडिओ शेअर करुंगा, ग्रेट व्हिडिओ.
Sir, it also depends on the friction of the seat cover, if the seat cover is more smooth the glass will move on meteor as well, this is a good test but you should perform it with both the bikes with the same seat cover.

Royal Enfield means makers of vibrating bikes, vibration is its brand icon. They still use Stone aged technology adopted engines in their every models. HONDA taught them how to make 350cc engines totally vibration free in their H'ness model.

Be it your HEART or a motorcycle ENGINE, they will create some noise or vibrations and that's how your heart beat is checked. Moment a DOG runs behind our bike, the Heart thumping vibrations might cross every engine vibrations.
These are baseless videos and let's not judge the capabilities of motorcycle engineers or the company by such non relevant test which are not thought even by NASA engineers.
I am an Aeronautical engineer and Ex-Motocross racer, and dealt not only with the motorcycle vibrations but also fighter jet and helicopter engine vibrations, all my life.
This video makes NO sense because of few simple reasons :
1. Any rotating mass like engine will make some vibrations so water is bound to shake, there is nothing which is proven by this experiment.
2. Just the foam density, material, design and how the seat is fixed on the motorcycle frame itself can make all the difference in shake of water.
3. Higher the distance from engine, more will be the vibration. Keep it on rear seat and see. Nothing special about it.
4. Longer the stroke of engine, more will be the vibration. So if you compare this bike with any other machine which has a shorter engine stroke, it will create less vibrations.
5. Motorcycle vibration depends on many things like the engine design and material used. The way engine is fixed to the motorcycle frame. The whole chassis design and many other factors including the fuel tank shape and material. Just fill the tank full of fuel and try same thing, the vibrations will reduce.
Just change of handlebar grips with better material can change the overall feel of the motorcycle in terms of vibrations. This is the reason foot pegs are fitted with a rubber mount to keep your legs away from vibrations.
If you really wish to check motorcycle vibrations go and ride motorcycle on various types of terrain. Any motorcylist who has been riding a bike for sometime requires just a few minutes to comment upon a simple thing like the engine vibration. Kindly don't forget to fill the right air pressure otherwise, one might come out with some other theory on vibrations.
Unfortunately such videos are causing more confusion rather than putting the facts in correct perspective.
As a well established CZcamsr, one also has a duty to make sure each word spoken in video is FULL OF FACTS and not made just to surprise people.

Bhai seat la b fark h..meteor ki seat stable h balanced h ek table ki trah where as in classic seat balanced nahi h foam ki vjah se upar ko uthi hui hoti h..jis vjah se balance b ni ho pa rha glass..
No doubt vibrations kam h meteor me but ur example is somewhat not suitable

Royal enfileds jawa yezdi are all known for vibration sound thump and all, from forefathers ancestors period. Royal enfiled must bring old engines
