I think ReviewBrah needs to be more clear about prices. I just looked it up and the sandwich with fries starts at $15, not $20. The $20 he paid was the upcharged price that DoorDash charges for items. Most people don't realize it, but they jack up prices for items intrinsically, then add on processing and delivery fees

You got the "Grand Slam."
More like grand scam
I used to do UberEats and sadly it is too easy to steal food. Most common way is to pick up from the restaurant, but instead of confirming the pick up in the app you cancel your pick up using any excuse (restaurant taking too long is a real reason to cancel) and walk away with the food. This sucks because then the order goes to me and when I get to the restaurant they tell me someone already got the order, so I have to call customer support and tell them, they call the restaurant to confirm I’m telling the truth, then the order is canceled on my end and I get a whopping 3 bucks to cover my time and gas. Your driver was especially dumb the way they stole, but it’s horribly flawed system.

My last several doordash orders were delivered by non-english speaking people who didnt match the description on the app, often driving a different car too. People are signing up for the service and letting their undocumented friends/family drive for them.

Dennys + Door Dash = Disappointment & Diarrhea
I refuse to use doordash. The first time I ordered through them they delivered my food to the wrong address, fairly hard to do in my subdivision where all of the houses are clearly marked. The minute I got the photo of the front door I knew it was wrong so I immediately called and was told (They picked up with in 30 seconds) " The driver has already left your neighborhood and is too far away to go back and get it and deliver it." In less than a minute? The speed limit here is 20 mph, how fast were they going??? Fine, refund me then. "We can refund the cost of the meal but not the delivery fee or the tip.". I'm sorry, what the hell? "Well, The driver DID deliver the food and we have to pay them for that delivery so we can't refund the delivery charge. The tip has already been issued to the driver and there's no way for us to pull it back."
Am I living in the Twilight zone? Granted, this was 3 years ago and things may have changed since then but to be told I still had to pay the delivery fee and the tip absolutely floored me. I went through three different supervisors and got the same answer from every single one of them. Thankfully my credit card company had an entirely different attitude. 😂
The DoorDasher drivers are the most obnoxious, entitled, worst human beings. They parked their cars and blocked traffic, they stand at the pickup counter blocking everyone else, they pester the food establishment workers thinking there order is somehow more of a priority. They also seem to be not the brightest, as I've seen lots of food left to sit for days at an apartment complex I used to live at. It wasn't that complicated. If you go on some of the DoorDasher subreddits, they complain about people's orders and they complain about tips. Like sorry you picked a job that a monkey could do and the company you work for is corrupt, but that's your own fault.
I do Dash for a living just for the fact that I really like choosing my own hours and I know exactly what you're talkin about. I for one do all I can to rise above all that. But I have seen dashers do exactly what you're talkin about and it makes us who actually have a moral compass about it look bad.
I go and pick up my own food. Not trusting delivery. Good report!! 😊😊😊
Thank you as always for a rivetting review Mr. The Report. Im sorry about your experience with the driver.
That's Mr. the Week to you..., Brah.
Vegetable toppings are generally from similar sources in all restaurants. It main factors are how far back in the rotation deliveries are, how quickly it gets it refrigeration and how quickly it goes to be prepped and gets used on the line.
Denny's is on my BANNED list, management is ridiculous.
I was broke down at a travel center/ truck stop with a Denny's waiting on a mechanic. I got a burger and was pleasantly surprised, it could have been my low expectations. My area no longer has a Denny's, we used to have 3.
20 bucks for salt sandwich 😅
Delivery in Germany is a bliss. On point. Warm food. No " extras" like snoot . Tip optional ( 2-5 percent).
