Happy Birthday Leslie! You will look stunning on your special day. It's always so nice to watch your episodes. I love that you talk about mistakes and having to start over again, all things I do on a regular basis. The hornet update was so interesting, glad it fed the birds. Glad to hear the cream cleared up your spots. Thank you for the PSA to remind us to get our skin checked out. I recently had to visit a dermatologist, the waiting room was always full and no one looked like they were under 45.

I, too, have issues that require tinking or ripping out which makes my knitting time increase. But we are tenacious enough to make the adjustments and get the projects completed!! Happy birthday! And a quick heads up there is a very similar vest recently published by Berocco on Ravelry, called Morel, it is by Asa Buchta. It could be an alternative to the Lana Grossa slipover if anyone has trouble finding that pattern. 9:55

My parents did a similar cream here in Australia, but they were told to do it for four weeks, they should’ve stopped after three, but they kept going even though I said stop, however, my mum looked like she had third-degree burns and took a while to heal but her face afterwards looked absolutely amazing. Two weeks sounds much better though. I’ll be doing that soon no doubt as our Celtic skin in the sun is not good 😬

@@LeslieFriend I used to travel all the time Leslie, but right at the moment life is so complicated personally and professionally my wings have been clipped 😕🙃 So no international fun for me in the short term future. We’ve also just decided to sell and build again so another up coming project on the list and it’s all on me as my hubby is as handy as a toddler in a toy shop 🤣🤣 I’ll just travel vicariously through you 💪🏻🤭🤣🥰

Lovely vest! You might like The Void shawl, which uses what looks like the same diamond forming stitches. I had trouble with the first left moving stitches and like you, I found a CZcams video that helped unify those stitches. Your’s is such a fun podcast!

Hi, Leslie! I remember in one of your recent podcasts that you had some difficulty with increases and decreases on each side of the neck of a project looking the same. I found a CZcams channel called NimbleNeedles that addresses lots of different tips examining just that! I found the methods quite illuminating. You may already be aware of these methods, I was not. Just thought it could help both of us! Knit on!
I’m on day three of the same treatment. It’s amazing but itchy. I’ve used before on my hands and chest/neck area. 👍🏽

I'm making the Moby Slipover, and it has that same diamond pattern, which I goofed up on in places as well. I do love the vest, but it's more work than I anticipated. I will be happy to have it done!

I live in the rather deep South of the US and this yarn and no sleeves might work for me….IF I can find the pattern in English which is looking difficult as I search this morning 3/18/24. I saw your post of English pattern on Ravelry but, it does not look downloadable without lots of photo highjinks.😮. If anyone finds the pattern in English, I would really appreciate a tip!
