Companion Within: In Muslim tradition God is everywhere, especially inside of our hearts. When there is no one around to help you … reach out to God in your heart.
Spirituality: The West has explored different type of spirituality. However, very few have explored spirituality that exist in Islam. This is when a human tries to connect with God by praising him. The Nirvana of Islamic spirituality is when both your Soul and Body starts saying Hu.
Prostrating: Muslim Prostrate while praying i.e. put their heads on the earth in humility and to rid themselves from Ego and praise God to get closer him. If you shed tears during this prostration. One will find true happiness. This war between Ego (selfishness) and Humility before God is the true struggle of Humans. If one conquers his Ego, only then can one find peace within himself and enjoy the spiritual ecstasy.

Hu is the last syllable in the word Allahu. It is a vowel at the end of the Personal Name for God: Allah. By itself Hu also means He or Him or even He is. Therefore in the context here, Hu is an epithet for God. The song, or Qawwali (saying or statement of mine) is a Sufi styled genre). The Sufis are Muslim folk who, in the hope of drawing closer to God, they try to distill and then practice certain facets of Islam, apart from their basic practice of Islam (Islam means Surrender your will to God's Will), while (here's a quote from Google): "An abstract word, Sufism derives from the Arabic term for a mystic, ṣūfī, which is in turn derived from ṣūf, “wool,” plausibly a reference to the woollen garment of early Islamic ascetics." This genre of Music sometimes puts the listener into a type of trance where he experiences a type of ecstasy while contemplating the name of God. The word 'Bol' is an Urdu word for Say. Thus the name of the song is Bol Hu. Meaning (Just) Say "God"! and you will be okay. The main Singer here is 8 year old Hadiya Hashmi. You need to listen to the whole video and when she comes in in latter half, it is as a tremendous crescendo. I might add that certain 'orthodox' Muslims are not in favour of Music at all, and far more to use it to draw closer to God, since they regard all Music as a Distraction from God, and therefore in this context, it is considered by many of them to be an abomination. Nevertheless, if I considered this an abomination, I would never post it up. I believe anything that is not explicitly forbidden in the Scripture, even if it might be considered bad, or even dubious. it is either an opportunity to be either distracted from God or an Opportunity to Remember Him. Further, if a heedless person is drawn closer to God with this, it must be Good. And if a Heedless person is not drawn closer to God with this, then this is of zero consequence with that person. Finally the word Allah means The God, besides whom there is no other. AL is “The” and ILAh or Elah is God. Thus AL and ILAH are elided into Allah, which has become HIs Personal Name. To a friend of mine who refers to God as Eloh(im), Eloh and ILAH and ELAH: all mean the same thing (God), it just depends on which of the sister Afro Asiatic Languages of the Middle East that you use. The 'im' in Elohim is simply a suffix added to a word in order to show either Reverence or Respect: Thus is Hebrew God is sometimes called Elohim. Finally, the genre of Music here is Qawwali, which involves belting out some serious tones. It is the opposite in nature to songs sung about the Messenger of God (Muhammad, upon whom be God's Peace) and who is the Seal of the Prophets. Songs sung about him are Qasidas, which means moderation and care. Since Qasidas mention his name, the invocation of blessing on him, in mid song by the listener is incumbent. Since it is believed by some, that he comes when folks repeatedly hold meetings for celebrating him, it is not allowed to raise one's voice in his presence, especially if making reference in referring to him.
"O ye who believe! Lift not up your voices above the voice of the Prophet, nor shout when speaking to him as ye shout one to another, lest your works be rendered vain while ye perceive not. " (Quran 49:2). Many Qasida reciters and listeners violate this rule. If you want to sing Qasida, please follow the etiquette of it and do not raise your voice just in case Allah allows His Messenger to visit your gathering. If you want to really have an ecstatic experience call on God, Go for Qawwali and shout out and belt out your tones! Allah will not be displeased if you shout out His Name in His Presence. Finally this song Bol Hu, incorporates both Modern and Ancient Instruments that gives us some of the genre of even Rock Music as well. Of course, you can draw closer to God with Rock Music. Remember, anything that is not explicitly forbidden is either an opportunity to Remember Him, or a trap to forget Him. I hope that you do give this a listen.
