Besides the awesome practical Japanese lesson, I'm also gonna learn that adorable "hmhmhm" you use for blanks in a sentence. It just works LOL.
Misa sensei, thank you so much for another amazing lesson. I can't imagine the effort you put into this: all these coloured subtitles, editing, research etc... kudos! We are all forever in your debt! 👍🙏
みさ先生の教えは最高です。ありがとうございます。
新しいビデオでありがとうございます、みさ先生✨

Skin is glowingggg
Plastic doll effect
I have saved this to watch on repeat! I like how you take it slowly, and thoroughly describe why the sentence structure is the was it is. I also love your sense of humour!
みさ先生, we really need the 2nd part, お願いします!
I appreciate you so much Misa! Although I don't plan on traveling anytime soon I still love watching your videos. There's always moments when you bring up important grammar that helps me solidify what I've learned so far
After setting up Roku for my sister, I found a younger Misa giving Japanese lessons. Even then Misa proudly shared Pikachu.
Ichiban Misa

みさ先生、ありがとうございます!
Arigatou sensei
As a bus driver, when someone asks, "does this bus go to...," it can be difficult to answer if they don't know exactly where they're going. Here's an actual conversation I had:
Passenger: Does this bus go to 4th St?
Me: It goes to five different 4th Streets in five different towns...
Or this one.
Passenger: Which bus goes to Walmart?
Me: Do you want the Walmart in Easton, Bethlehem, Whitehall or Trexlertown. (It's important to get this right because they may be trying to get to work)
Part 2 would be amazing, お願いします! :)
Our daily dose of Misa
Thank you for teaching me how to ask: すみません。一番近いラブホテルはどこですか。
どうもすみません is one of my fave expressions!
久しぶりね先生😊
😮 dang misa still atsui
Misa sensei, there is this song called who are you by Pelican fanclub. Could you please make a video that explains the meaning of that song like the one you made for unravel? Also, thanks a lot for the lessons. They really helped me out in learning japanese.
Love the video, very useful phrases. After asking for directions, would you have a list of responses the other person might say? "Go straight that way 2 blocks, then take a right" or "it's right over there" or even just "sorry, I don't know". ありがとうございました。
紫色の髪の先生が大好きです。
Hope you get well❤
By the way Coco's IS the best place for Curry. I eat there any chance I get.
32:28 Maybe a rich snob would talk like this. 🤣
Misa sensei I love your channel and your videos are one of the rare ones I keep watching untill the end of it I hope you the best!
ミサ先生の動画は動く楽しいです!もっと日本語をおしえてもらいますか。
Always appreciate your hard work and wonderful videos that cover a range of vocabulary and useful ones see.
But something I’ll never understand is why these types of videos don’t cover the kind of answers that we might here?
Especially for directions lmao.
What’s the point in teaching how to ask for directions if I won’t be able to understand what’s being said?
Some examples for this would have helped alot.
I hope if you have time you’ll do a lesson on key direction based phrases ppl will often use.
wish fast can see misa update.i only like misa teacher sound very clear
ミサさんはいい日本語の先生です!ビデオを見ることをおすすめします。それは私の日本語を改善しています。☺
Thank You!😊
Thank you! You are amazing.
Are you Japanese
Thanks
パート2をお願いします!
Hi Misa sensei, in the future, is it possible to create check in / check out for hotel staff . Arigatougozaimasu :)
You are the translator of Frieren, aren’t you?
Mansions of Madness is awesome.
33:23 if you said this in Thailand it would be the equivalent of a girl saying 寝たいですけど、、 in Japan if you get what I mean
Your purple hair 😍😍😍
Great Video. I have a question, why do we use the partical は when asking for existence with the verb ある. I mean, if you ask for a specific place don't you have to use the partical が for emphasis? Sometimes i saw the partical が with the Noun お金 or 時間 and then almost everytime i saw the partical は。
I すみません次の駅は北千住ですか'd a Japanese lady and it turned out she was just visiting from Los Angeles and she didn't speak Japanese
It's like you mixed all ( well, not all but many ) lessons into one. Thanks Misa 😁🍓
Plus, I love your bossy side 🤭
My favorite must know travel phrase is くそ漏れそうだよ、助けて = kuso more so dayo, tasukete = please help me find the bathroom
can you say 徒歩で行けますか? 徒歩って使っていたけど正しいですか?
Part 2 動画がほしいんですが、
Would anyone be interested to be a study buddy to learn Japanese using Misa sensei's video and Genki textbook with me?
I want a buddy to keep me accountable and motivated. I don't really have friends who are interested to talk about japanese study stuff so it's hard to keep learning on my own as a hobby
みさ先生教えてくれてありがとう!been watching your videos for few years but didn't start learning seriously. Now I feel like I should
Wish more update

hi
Misa make a part 2 and some answers we could get because if we ask in japanese and dont know the answers its useless....
みさ先生、日本語を勉強したいんですが…
❤🎉
I like you
みさ先生、このままずっと日本語を教えてもらえませんかね・・・
1:00am and I can watch a blockbuster🫡
0:48 according to my research, context is super important for things like "I'm sorry" and "excuse me". Technically, ごめん would be used to say things like I'm sorry, don't feel bad, or it's a shame, wouldn't it? And then, すみません would be used to say things like, pardon/excuse/forgive me, right? Gomen has kanji for expressing the bad feeling, and sumimasen has kanji for being dismissed. So really, it might be dangerous to explain sumimasen as both "sorry" and "excuse me" to english speakers. I may not be the archetypical example of "an English Speaker", but if it confused me enough to feel I need extra research, it'll probably do that for many other people as well. When I was still a kid, we had different definitions of の, さ, and よ from how we're being taught, today, for example. I hope this doesn't seem to anyone like I just want to feel important about something... It is vital that one understands the exact details of another language system, if they expect to have any accurate results. In English we might say the same word for more than once context, but the actual word is the same. One can say "sorry?" In English to impart the feeling they want to try understanding something again. It can mean both feeling bad for having to ask (or that they want the listener to not feel bad for being misheard), and that the speaker would like another chance (or for the slight to be dismissed). Even if the speaker doesn't actually ask forgiveness, that feeling is implied. It's the same for "excuse me". That May imply to a listener that the speaker feels bad or wants their listener to feel not bad about the situation, but the implication isn't expected or guaranteed for each use. And anyways, the interpretation for "sorry" and "excuse me" are both the actual word's meaning, AND THEN the more nuanced second meaning. Japanese language already has this culture of nuance and context clues. So I felt it was necessary to object, here. I hope I haven't reddened any faces or scuffed any boots. It isn't my intent to embarrass or irritate anyone. I just hate when juicy message bits get lost in translation, and I want the absolute best for my fellow students.
