I started raking hay with one of these rakes and farmall 200 when I was 8 years old back in 1977 . Those things were awesome when towed with a narrow frontend tractor

I use a New Holland roll-a-bar rake. This one looks okay as well!

The roll bar are decent for small land but completely garbage for anything else. The design isnt near as good as a wheel rake

@@Hankbhomeless wheel take makes a fluffy loose wind row that air can get into to dry. tools bar takes make a tight wind row

@@40ricflair wheel rakes never caught on? I'd take one any day over a bar rake. I haven't done anything to my Deere 702 other than minor adjustments and grease it in almost 8 years. I guess I replaced the hydraulic hose on it once too

These rakes always out beat the Roller bar style and thats why companies like H&S, Sitrex, New Holland, Case, Deeres Frontier and Darf make these wheel rakes and sell them more.

Roll bar rake will do a cleaner job and it doesn't have to be bone dry to do it.
