En el corazón del Parque Rural de Teno, serpentea un camino entre altivas paredes de roca, desde el caserío de Masca, a lo largo del barranco del mismo nombre, hasta el mar.
El barranco de Masca es un enclave único, por la espectacularidad de su paisaje, pero también por la fragilidad y exclusividad de las especies de flora y fauna que alberga. La visita al mismo conlleva unos riesgos, que se derivan de sus características como espacio natural (desprendimientos, pavimento irregular y resbaladizo, fenómenos meteorológicos adversos...) y otros riesgos asociados a la actividad senderista (caídas, golpes, fatiga...)

Im Herzen des Naturparks von Teno schlängelt sich ein Wanderweg zwischen hohen Steinwänden hindurch. Er führt von der Siedlung von Masca durch die gleichnamige Schlucht bis zum Ozean.
Die Masca-Schlucht bildet auf Grund ihrer spektakulären Landschaften und der einzigartigen Tier- und Pflanzenarten, die sie beherbergt, eine einzigartige Enklave. Der Besuch der Schlucht birgt einige Risiken, die auf ihre Naturbelassenheit (Erdrutsche, Unebenheiten, Steinschläge, plötzliche Wetterumschwünge...) und die typischen Gefahren des Wanderns (Stürze, Schläge, Erschöpfung...) zurückzuführen sind.
