      Exactly what i was thinking. The 11k hp top fuel engines run dual plug and dual magneto's and sound a lot nastier. They estimate hp because they don't dyno every engine. After every run they rebuild them. They could probably make it more than one run, but do not want to risk destroying a 70k engine

      Nitro not allowed in truck and tractor pulling. Strictly alcohol and methanol for fuel. 2500 to 3000 horsepower per engine with the 14-71 supercharger or some vehicles run screw type blowers in the unlimited tractor class.

    At 2:08 you can hear him change over to the nitro. That's when your hear the cackle start and see the raw fuel start coming out of the headers. Fuel motors start up on alcohol and switch to nitro.
    Many of you know this but tons of comments say no nitro at all.

      His day job is wrapped all over that truck lol. The owner is Todd Dugan he owns Angry Farmer Products. They make penetrating spray and other products and he also has 2 multi turbo diesel trucks.

    Beautifully engineered and presented truck. I realize it’s merely a conversational piece, however, on that low of a percentage of CH3NO2 I would back the 11,000hp estimate down substantially. Not trying to take anything away from the build - it’s beautiful.

      @@BUILTDIESELMAFIA the percentage of nitro is important, but the amount that is put into the motor is where its at. They run up to 42 injectors and go through about 12-13 gallons of fuel per run. Also a top fuel motor has to run dual magnetos and dual plugs per cylinder to burn that much nitro and alcohol. The blocks are all billet, and the heads are billet, the crank and rods are billet. To be capable of making this kind of power you have to have more that just nitro.
      You may want to change to title of your video, it kind of makes you look like you have no idea what you're talking about. Unless this is just for click bait, in that case, good job.

    No where near 11000hp top fuel dragster only make 10000hp bout 3600_4000hp. we race pro mods and have a screw blown hemi on nitro and it makes around 5000hp.

    I'm sure someone will tell me I'm full of it but that ain't no top fuel motor in that truck.you can tell just by listening to it and the fact that top fuel motors cannot handle the beating of a pulling truck.

      You are wrong on one point. It is a top fuel type motor. You are right that it couldn't handle pulling. However, the truck doesn't make passes. Its a conversation piece to draw customers to angry farmer products. And it is exactly what i said it is here.

      This truck in the video competes in a class called Super Modified 4WD. They run supercharged engines in this class.

      @@curtispetit986 I believe that Curtis.what I don't believe is that to be an actual top fuel motor in a competitive pulling truck.those classes have rules that probably do not include a motor of that caliber.I can that being an exhibition truck maybe but not competitive.

    11,000? I’m gonna have to say no. Legitimate top fuel motors make an ESTIMATED 11,000. And they can only go a few seconds before melting. 11,000 would twist the driveshafts and blow up. But, that doesn’t make it any less ridiculous. Definitely cool

    Thats bullshit. A Nitro Funny Top fuel engine is only capable of 8000 HP on Nitro. Pulling vehicles are barred from using Nitro fuel. That Alky blown engine MAYBE puts out about 2500 HP.
