tip: using a pickaxe on rock golems will always land a critical hit, and pickaxes do more damage than an axe.
Also there's an item that causes you to gain a burst of attack speed when you crit. using a pickaxe on big chunk or the golems will cause you to keep your attack speed buff up until they die. I've been beating them so hard that they don't get to attack, makes them extremely easy to fight.

gamer tip: use those summoner totems to get buffs faster

Yup, ty
When I did that I died from dragon things and fire breathing Dinos
@@lardstehbread lmao rip
Unless they spawn three buffed chunks
Easy food: 1 apple, 5 wheat turned into dough, and 1 bowl in the cauldron. It makes apple pie which refills around 2 thirds of your hunger. They're super easy to make and even heal you a bit. Also, a potential use for structures: build a bunch of wood floors and place them around you. Monsters will get distracted by them which gives you breathing room and even some free hits from behind. Lastly, when moving throughout the map, look for collections of all tree types. You want to have all the wood variants as close as possible since they can spawn in their own "biomes" but ores spawn wherever. You don't want to have a bunch of mithril and no fir anywhere near you right before nightfall. As for combat, circle enemies and sprint when they're about to attack. The rock golems have super telegraphed attacks but the rocks are crazy accurate so sprint out of the way when they start a throw. The same goes for the little dinos and goblins. The elemental dinos however are very different. They are ranged and shoot magic missiles at you constantly. You have to rush in, sprint to the sides and hit them. Once you hit them they stop attacking for a second. Stun lock them into oblivion before the other enemies swarm you. As for chunk, you should have some jump boost by the time he spawns and can jump over the rocks. If not, just stay back a little and go between the boulders. Once youre up close, get behind him and attack his heels. He tries to spin around but is too slow. The club attack doesn't do anything to you behind him and the shockwave is so telegraphed that you can run far enough away to dodge the rocks before he even jumps. Most important in the early nights is to never stop working. You cannot sit and watch iron smelt, you need to be collecting things, scavenging food, or setting up structures for the night (just the wooden floors I mentioned). Btw the bow is kinda useless until like night 7 with the wyverns but by then you can just jump up and hit them. Gold anything also sucks so only craft coins with gold bars. Hope this helps.
GREAT advice!

What's one feature you wish was in the game? Personally i would pick saving
I would love saving worlds, or being able to use scroll wheel
Saving worlds being able to join lobbies like among us and the option to turn respawn on and off
saving is not supposed to be in the game because its a roguelike game meaning you start from the beginning every time you play.
same, also being able to plant trees
i wish pausing and spells

a little tip i have is build up 1 stair hight, place a work bech then on top of it build another stair, then a nother work bech then another stair, that way, if they break the bottom stair your huge build is still ok, and you can get back up by just building 1 or 2 stairs.
also by pressing 2 movement keys like W and D then slightly sprint, then jump, then let go of sprint. that way you can move WAAAAAAAAAAAY faster

Glad it was helpful!
Just about to play this for the first time this is very helpful. Dropped a like and sub
dani said in his discord that there will be more content added today, including buff hostile mobs

Cool beans
my personal tips: find a village as soon as you can, if you cant see one get basic tools. It'll probably take you about 1 day/night to go to a village far away during the start, which doesnt really matter as long as you can get tools fast. The chests in the village will help alot, get a lot of coins, and also here is my recommended progression:
Day 1/night 1: get coins, tools and chests while going towards a village.
Day2/night 2: Your primary focus is getting coins. At this point buy adamantite tools straight away.
Day3/ night 3: If you're playing on gamer mode, go to a forest as fast as possible if you dont have any walls or structures. If you're on normal or easy, mine obamium, and mine about 40 for armor. you can get more if you want the sword but there are better weapons like chief's spear.
Day 4/ night 4: by now you should be smelting the obamium. You can protect the furnace with walls or stairs. but while waiting get coins to open chests and if you dont want to spend 250 coins on ancient bow, grind for the bone and craft a fletching table.
Day 5/ night 5: by now some of the obamium must have smelted so get an anvil and make some armor.
Day/p6/night 6: I would guess the obamium should have been smelted and you have fought a couple of bosses so just grind coins and open chest. oh and arrows, dont forget to buy arrows. My preference is lightning but you can buy fire or water arrows as well. If I were to estimate how many arrows would be enough, I would say about 200 or so.
Day 7- Day 15: Just grind coins and open chests. dont forget to keep your arrow supply high.
Day 16: You can grind for more stuff or just fight the boss.
Day 17- Day 100: This is just for those who are wanting the day 100 achievement, but for you guys make a safe base. This is to have somewhere to go to incase the mobs get too strong. by day 50 you shouldve already gotten all the chests so you can grind for more arrows cuz you are gonna need them.
Damn dude, 99 percent of viewers aren't subscribed? Nah, I might not make a big dent, but imma sub bro. 👍🏽

"There's no ore after adamantite"
Obamium : *Are You Sure About That?*
*Tip to beat Big Chunk (Relly help): Before the night day 6, you must find somewhere have 1 of these ores (trees): Adamantite ore, Obamium ore, Oak wood, Dark Oak wood and wait till the night, when Big Chunk start jumping just stay behind the ore or the tree and... you can't get hit :D*

Here's another tip if big chunk spawns or those stone dudes spawn use a pickaxe you will deal much more damege
Tip : you have 100% critical chance with pickaxe against golems so you can 3 shot them
this is awesome
thanks!
My right ear loved this video
After getting beginner tools the monument things that spawn around the map give you tons of coins if you have a piggy bank so if you get 1 you can get all the items/artifacts by day 3 if you get a piggy bank and if you have all the artifacts you will DESTROY big chunk with wood tools
wow
This helped me so much!!!! I managed to get to day 15 with my max possible damage of 8192. I died cause 5 big chuncks with 3000 health each spawned next to me. For once I actually felt OP like the big youtubers that use video magic to somehow get 15000 powerups in 5 minutes.
Helpful tip! You have to rush the game to survive
A deserved like ✔
:)
My list of tips:
1. Make mushroom soups, they're really powerful and cheap, especially early-game. (All you need is a cooker + bowl + desired mushroom type (different mushrooms give different stats, red mushrooms give the most HP))
2. Don't stay in 1 place for too long, materials can get scarce.
3. Do totems. Just do them. Free coins + powerups, sometimes you get an ancient bone from the goblin trio too.
4. Most enemies(golem not included) are really slow at turning, so if you run around them at point-blank range, they can't hit you.
5. The ancient bow is OP but uses a TON of arrows. Use it as a backup tool.
6. Keep in mind that after the 5th day, chest prices start going up, so try to open as many chests before day 5.
7. Stock up on healing foods, like red mushroom soup. I recommend having at least 10 health foods. It'll save your life.
8. Golems take guaranteed crits against pickaxes, so fight them with a pickaxe if you don't have an ancient bow.
Big Chunk is so big that he was split into 2 hitboxes, so
9. If you hit Big Chunk between his legs, you do damage to him twice, effectively doubling your melee damage against him.
rock type enemies will always get crit with a pickaxe
pickaxes have more max hit than an axe
when near mid game, i suggest getting cooked meat as it gives more hunger than the yellow shrooms
break your furnace, workbench, anvil, or any stations when going somewhere far, it help save materials in order not to re-make them
in easy or normal, try to fight (new) buff big chunk statues. one shot protection with just a wooden pickaxe is enough (make sure u have some hp, and food shrooms to not die from his attacks and always go behind him as his swing move is pretty op)
another tip play in creativ mod to study like all the moves of every monster and yeah.
yesss
Creative mode? What?
@@estebanxd6335 Yes what
@@estebanxd6335 what
Nice tips buddy
4:08 the stone guys are really easy just have the rock throws collide with other enemy's and dodge them and you will be a ok just going side to side will pretty much stun them if your right in front of them
good idea
Fun fact: the golems that spawn at night take more damage from pickaxs
tip: if u use pickaxe to fight golems u will have 100% crit chance to them
doesn't count for sniper scope or hammer upgrades
Tip first day get a lot of wood and stone your gonna need it later day 2 get iron and steel items and explore and use those battle totems for buffs day 3 mine mithril and day 4 get a lot of adamantite (don't battle those totems in day 4 if still using steel armor those things that shoot fireballs will kill you in 3 hits)
extra more specific tips:
chunks take extra damage from pickaxes, this also applies for big chunk
adrenaline is a pickup that grants giant stat ups when below 30% health, so when you find it, you should go for common and rare chest drops since all the health ups are there
trading with villagers for adamantite tools is faster but riskier since it's not guaranteed for the village to have the certain trader and theres also a possibility for them to not have the adamantite tools
making food is a waste of time, just trade for it
summoning altars give a handful of coins because of the 3 mini boss enemies and a pickup, that pickup could also be a health up
do not fight bosses other than big chunk and chief without healing.
i think thats all folks
super helpful tip, you can use a pickaxe on the rock dudes to do crazy damage, it gets a crit every hit when you use a pickaxe on them
Note, enemies have weaknesses, use a Pickaxe against golems and especially Big Chunk, it will deal like 4x the damage of the sword
Your content is so good I wish you can be at the top
:)
Man you really know what you're doing, Id say you'ld go far if you got the save feature mor
HOLY SHIT this helped a lot i made it to day seven normally only making it to day 3 so thank you i am still trying to improve
glad it helped you!
Another tip that's more related to combat rather than surviving, the rock golems actually take more damage from pickaxes than axes or swords. I don't believe the same applies to big chunk, but I know the regular rock golem enemies have that little quirk.
oh, i thought that that should be a feature, didn't realize it already was lol :)
@@linctothepast Yeah, I noticed it while playing with a friend of mine. I was being attacked by a bunch of rock golems which were taking a long time to kill with my axe, so I pulled out a pickaxe and it did a lot more damage.
Makes sense cuz golems are made of rocks which pickaxes are more effective towards
I EVEN BATTLE WITH A DAMN PICKAXE WITH EVERY MOB
I survived solo for 20 days and here's a tip: Get a fletching table and make Adamantite bow and arrows. It's way easier to kill Big Chunk with them.
good idea

MMMHHH. My right ear liked that!
Id recommend to make floating buildings with a bug that if you put 3 workbenches one on top of the other and then make your base there it will float even if the enemies destroy the workbenches
linc: play with friend
me: what if have none
oof
I actually have a trick of how to kill Big chunky, Basically you have to get a bow with 135 arrows, and make a skybase with stairs, and shoot it until it's low and then finish him
great video
Thanks!
I discovered how to fuck the game
Step 1:gather 25 thin stairs, one workbench, and one anvil, and 10 platforms or more
Step 2:wait for day, kill all the enemy's
Step 3:Use the stairs to go up as high as you can and place one platform at the top
Step 4:place the anvil then put the workbench on top of it destroy the anvil and the workbench will float
Step 5:place platforms on the workbench and boom
Sky base
Now your only threat is flying enemy's
Build chests furnaces and sit back and laugh at big chunk trying to get you
Use extra jumps and a lot of jet packs to get up and down
Edit:the best part is to watch the stairs fall and your base just floats there
For the people who want mithril/adamantite stuff early:
Idk if this works for you guys but it always works for me
1. Get some tools to fight (can be an iron sword if ur not the best at pvping)
2. Go to challenge stones and beat the monsters until you have around 100-140 gold
3. Find a village and trade with he guy in iron armor.
4. You can also trade with others to get food and wood.
You can do this on day 0.
Thank you
You're welcome
A tip I would suggest is to run arround the world collect free chest and invest in 25 gold chest once nights are over, and once it is big chunk battle just craft a crap ton of arrows and a bow and circle arround big chunk and kill him that way,you can turn off grass to find flint and other things such as apples and mushrooms collect arround 30 wood at the start only, cuz you gonna get some from goblins,I played the game for arround 5 hours and managed to pull this off without armor on easy of course, btw very nice tips, they are very useful
good idea!
@@linctothepast Thank youu,in the future if you can please show how to use bow because there were so many ppl asking how to use bow,the problem mainly being that they don't equip arrows in inventory
@@theeyeofhorror2514 sure!
Ok so heres my strategy for getting more lives and stuff, use the summoner totems to get buffs keep doing this until you have enough for at least 4 normal chests or 1 mithril chest ( this is all with rock/woodpickaxe by the way) its basically luck because the worst thing that could happen is a trowing rock guy spawns and kills you. you do this proccess over and over again until your stacked, and yes you need to get recourses while in that period of time, when you get like mithril or iron you can get even more recourses with the summoner totems more faster, and also when you have all the buffs, you can kill mobs super fast and almost never die, i got 2.5k health with this trick and i was on normal mode so yeah, try doing this, you also can use whatever you want to kill the mobs hope i helped ya.
Pros: You get stuff quickly, also if u get one of the buffs u get more damage to recourses.
Cons: You might die because of rock guys with the summoner items i give a tip that u spin around them with rock or wood pickaxe.
nice :p
