stop biting your nails for one, wear a simple black rubber band in your wrist. make sure to clean your shoes once a week atleast. workout everyday when you get time , use pins to make your uniform right fitting (only if u want it). add cute pins, badges and keychains to your bags (beads, loombands etc) . always pre iron your uniform the night before when there is power. loosen the hairstyle and style your tiny baby hairs and bring them in the front. wear lain lip balm without any tint (chapstick) at home to prevent the cracking of lips. wear sunscree/spf to protect urself from UV rays, and wash your face properly and have a very basic affordable skin routine after finding your skintype

Indian uniforms are a lot stricter than this, and let me explain it.
1. Most students only have 2 or 3 uniforms, and they have to get up very early for school, meaning that it is often wrinkled and sometimes even dirty if they didn't do the laundry.
2. Indian parents will get 3x bigger (at least), saying that you are growing and will grow into it, even if you are at max height, and never will.
3. There are mostly regulation colors for bags, and these mostly match school uniform colors. Plus, there are 6-9 classes in indian schools (not all, but a good amount) everyday, and each requires a textbook and notebook, so forget light backpacks. Also, rollers aren't allowed in many, and aren't practical due to stairs and tight, cramped corridors.
4. Hair is strictly regulated, most indian schools have 2 tight braids or 2 ponytails for short hair. If really short, you can wear it out, but as soon as you can put it in a ponytail, it must be. If your braids go past your shoulders, in many schools, they must be bunched up and tied up. Also, due to extreme heat in lots of areas, oil is heavily put on hair, and it makes it heavy and greasy, but it works as excellent sunblock for hair.
5. Indian parents are extremely (and I can't stress this enough) against makeup, and believe that natural beauty is the only thing. It doesn't matter if you have the biggest pimples, or eyebags, or anything, there is absolutely nothing to cover up in their opinions, and they will not buy it. Lots of schools also have routine checks, and will wipe off the makeup from your face. Kids have gotten suspended for this as well, with the saying "come back to school when you focus on education and not looks," and this is majorly factored into all indian houses and families.
6. It's a school. You will play. You can't polish them everyday. And most shoes are white or black, which makes it difficult to maintain all the time, and they have sneaker material.
7. Nails are always cut extremely short, and if you can tap your fingers against a desk and they make sound, they are too long. Nail polish is out of the question, similar to makeup.
8. Watches are fine with many, but even then, some schools don't allow it.
9. Earrings for indians are heavy, gold, silver, or diamond. Very expensive and you don't take them off. But very pretty!
Also why are all the girls Koreans (gorgeous but they aren't indian) in a video about *indian* uniforms 😭

You must all come in proper uniform.
The uniform
**You are advised to follow these instructions-
*Wear only the prescribed school uniform .
*Your uniform must be clean and properly ironed.
*Wear an ironed and properly knotted tie.
*Wear polished shoes.
*Girls with long hair must come in two plaits.
*Girls with short hair must make a pony and pin up their hair properly. ( dark brown rubber band only and no fancy hair clips)
*Girls are not permitted to wear skirts above the knee length.
*Boys must get a proper hair cut. They are not permitted to keep long hair.
*Don't wear any accessory.(watch, bracelet, danglers etc)

Heyy y'all I just wanted to share what I do to beautify my school uniform and to look more presentable in school
(Some of my tips are similar to the ones in the vid)
1) Iron your uniform properly.
2) Don't use nailpolish (because it starts looking ugly when it begins to fade).
3) Cut your hair short maybe a pixie or a bob (I know that some of your parents might not allow that but try to convince them somehow 😂) Because if you do, you won't have to braid and fold your hair. I used to have a pixie but now I'm growing it out cuz I'm planning to get a wolfcut
4) Wear polished shoes.
5) Wear studs made out of silver (I get that many schools don't allow fancy earrings so opt for studs instead of hangings) Wearing silver can really enhance your looks.
6) Wear your ribbons/hairties neatly (you can iron it to make it look better)
7) Apply a little bit of eyeliner aka kanmai in tamil (In many south Indian schools, according to my knowledge, eyeliners are allowed)
8) If you have long hair and have to fold it, try different types of braids. For example, french braids, fish tail braids or three strand braids.
9) Wear your ID card (and belt if you have one) everyday.
10) Wear perfume or atthar to smell good (it helps a lot with confidence)

EXACTLY MY POINT!!! school is for disciplining you, and teaching you. But some of these kiddos here whine so much about it, they're obsessed with Korean culture and just want to follow that and look pretty and have relationships 🤡 nobody is understanding school's actual purpose, everyone is just being salty

I always wear an oversized shirt but a fitted skirt...and in winters there are trousers so fit trousers and an oversized sweater...
I add a ribbon to my one ponytail which look good indeed..
