Richard I enjoy your videos greatly. I have fished Guntersville before but not Wheelerjust below the dam. I am curious about the smallmouth population below the dam along the rocky banks river left in the first mile or two below the dam. do you have any info on this. Sometimes I like to throw streamers with a flared to smallies in rivers. thanks
Going fishing here I think next weekend at night after I get myself a good cat fishing rod. I have myself a rod for small pond fishing but not one ready for this big of fish yet. It’s an abu Garcia maybe 3-4 inches around at the thickest point in it. Probably more though because I haven’t really measured it. I’ve got a spinner reel on it.
