- This is my second outing this year drifting my 86. I feel like I improved a ton, both driving and with my editing skills! If you have any feedback for my driving or editing I'd love to hear it. We are back to work on the Datsun build now so make sure to check that out too! Thanks for stopping by!
man thanks for putting this together. for me, this is REAL drifting.
That means a ton man, thanks for watching! Nothing like loading up a car, driving it to the track, beating on it all day, then driving it home!
That one corner keeps getting the best of you eh. Looks like you're having a great time out there. Definitely improving.
The corner before it is just so much fun that I'd almost forget I had to be ready for the next corner! Thanks for watching!
Nice video❤
thanks for watching!
Some really nice filming at the start
Thank you! Glad the extra effort showed through!
Glad to see the 86 out and drifting again!
Felt like some of my best driving, these cars are a blast! Can't wait to see yours finished!
more of this!! plz
You got it buddy!! Did you check out my other drifting videos?
dang nice drifts i wish i had a drift car like that lol
i cant even drift irl cuz i dont have a car atm :( i only play assetto corsa
I've heard assetto is great practise for real life! When you do get a car you'll be ready to drift! Keep practising!
@@LooseFab thanks! :D
What's your mod list?
I have a couple Mazda RX-7s (1985 FB GSL, stripped, caged, prepped for Spec RX-7 racing... And a 1986 FC GXL, Almost all stock NA 13B, Miata transmission guts, 4.3:1 rear end with Miata Torsen Limited Slip, Ohlins coilovers.)
Since both RX-7s are normally aspirated, they're both sub 150 HP and zero torque to speak of.
Everyone that I know the drifts has turbochargers, V6/V8 engines, etc...
The added power helps break the rear end loose.
that sounds like a pretty cool collection! I bought an old collection of fb rx7s a few years ago (5 of them to be exact) but I ended up selling them all. This car is bone stock, probably makes 100hp if im lucky! It has lowering springs that I got for free and I extended the front control arms myself, but otherwise its all stock! You definitely dont need a lot of power to drift, but I imagine it would probably make things easier lol. thanks for watching!
you need to be clutch kicking alot and hitting 3rd gear at the end. that'll help you alot
Thanks for the feedback! I think those last 3 corners would definitely benefit from 3rd gear, just not sure if I have the balls for it yet haha
