As scary as strategic zombies is you have to give props to the soldiers for actually carrying through their missions. In a way the experiment is actually a success since at the end of the day despite turning they still carry the order.

I Think this idea of a bit of retained conciousness is much more realistic then the complete kis’s of humanity since usually zombies are caused by parasites or something that effects the brain but it wouldnt cover the entire brain atleast not in my opinion

It’s a movie.
Tbh, this is probably one of the most dangerous zombie types i've ever seen, they can travel in large groups, they can strategize attacks, they can track people down with their memory, they can turn you within minutes, they're inhumanly strong and fast, they can take a mountain of ammo to kill if you don't shoot the right spots, and they can even think at the same capacity as a normal human being but now with predatory and pack hunting instinct
And even with that data, we can safely assume that they can set up traps, use weapons, stalk you for days, break into just about any fortitude they want, and form legitimate bonds with each other
Yeah, we are all GONERS if the real world ever deals with these
They've been guided with a leader with his own goal in mind, they are strong but not uncontrolable. Zombies are truly dangerous because you cannot control them. They aren't the most dangerous considering them sparing those soldiers at the end.

Often times, it comes at a cost. These zombies most likely won't be able to survive for that long on its own without food, it must use a lot of energy compared to regular human.
This group of zombies is probably the most scary and menacing ever. They still got intelligence, memory, able to track, able to strategize etc.

i hate stupid zombies more, theres nothing scarier than a familiar and identifiably human face thats hellbent on cannibalising you, to the point where it ignores any form of damage or pain inflicted on it, and has no form of understanding what "retreating" is, and don't care if they themselves die in the process of getting to you. It kinda makes them seem more unstoppable. The strategizing and capability of thinking makes them seem more human than monster

And Valencia even releases one of the supposedly dead experiment pig subjects when she notices it's still alive instead of bringing it back to the lab? This zombie movie is probably one of the best in my opinion. The zombies here are actually more interesting realistic unike all other zombie movies where they are just mindless and only wants to bite people so the other movies are entirely just someone running away from brainless zombies chasing them to bite them without any reason. And zombies are more likely to happen in the real world than many other scary fictional things like monsters, aliens or ghosts and thats why i am scared of these bloody looking humans more than all the other more terryfying things since it resembles real life more. Ive had soooo many nightmares in my life of being in a zombie apocolypse and never had that much of demons, ghosts, monsters or walling skeletns because theyre unrealistic

A unique take on the zombie genre. However, I find the 'child genius' trope to be a bit too much here. The boy is only 11, and yet he was able to deduce that the zombies had two hearts just by looking at their body?

Damn, that’s gotta be the cleanest and most organised Mexican prison I’ve ever seen.
Most of them are run by inmates who end up stabbing or beheading each other because they’re from rival gangs.
It's an interesting take as the zombies still seem to have some of their brains given the smuggler waved back at the kid. It's not surprising a guy named Noballs was able to get away so fast, he didn't have to worry about crushing anything as he runs.
