    *Verse 1:*
We receive salvation when we turn,
From trusting in ourselves to learn,
What Christ has done, our saving grace,
On the cross, He took our place.
    *Chorus:*
By grace we are saved through faith,
Not by works or our own strength,
It’s what Jesus did for you and me,
On the cross, He set us free.
    *Verse 2:*
Our salvation, a gift from above,
Based on Christ's sacrifice and love,
Nothing we do can earn His grace,
We’re saved when we seek His face.
    *Chorus:*
By grace we are saved through faith,
Not by works or our own strength,
It’s what Jesus did for you and me,
On the cross, He set us free.
    *Bridge:*
Confess with your mouth, believe in your heart,
That Jesus is Lord, from death He did part,
With the heart we believe, justified we stand,
With our mouths we confess, salvation’s at hand.
    *Verse 3:*
Realize our need, turn from sin,
Receive Jesus, let new life begin,
Trust in Him alone for salvation’s call,
By His grace, He redeems us all.
    *Chorus:*
By grace we are saved through faith,
Not by works or our own strength,
It’s what Jesus did for you and me,
On the cross, He set us free.
    *Outro:*
For by grace, through faith we’re saved,
A gift from God, for us He gave,
Not by works, no boast can be,
In Jesus Christ, we find victory.
We receive salvation when we stop trusting in ourselves and put our trust in what Christ did for us.
Our salvation is a result of God's grace. It is based on what Jesus did for us on the cross. It has nothing to do with what we do for Him.
We cannot save ourselves or earn God's approval through the good works we do. We are saved by God's grace when we realize our need for a Savior, turn from sin and receive Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, putting our trust in Him Alone for salvation.
If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved.
For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.
