The problem is that for most people the pay is bad even though they do good work. It is called the working poor and I think that is very real and a bad thing. I have been gifted money and I am so thankful for it- we have been working hard and were given that opportunity and were able to double that money (my passion is carpentry so we took the money and I built the house myself). This opens up even more opportunity that we would have not had before. We have 2 young children and it changes everything. Your circumstances matter a lot. So I totally believe in hard work, dedication, improvement.. but at the end of the day you do need a ton of luck and I meet to many that I feel that there are doing so many things right and still fall behind.
