I like how even the cannonballs of the Vampire Coast's artillery are covered in barnacles. Really nice little detail!
In general I love how much little detail they put into these games with the visuals and such. The craters the cannon balls leave on the ground where they impact and how they bounce of the ground or large enemies they hit. Just really cool stuff that makes the game feel more immersive and satisfying imo.
This battle helped me realize that the animations for the empire spearmen have them swing the spears a lot. Wouldn't it be more effective and easier to just ya know, stick things?
Amazing game btw! Always enjoyable to see the empire unleash absolute hellfire with the rockets.
Is the same with all the shielded units, most of the animations have them shield bashing the enemy and not poking/slicing, It would be good if they followed it with a proper attack but no
against the undead, punches are probably more effective than stabs these are magic zombies not walking dead ons destroying the brain might not help
@@lorokaylorokay1348 but cutting their limbs is way better than punching them, and this animations are used against all enemies
@@MiguelSanchezDelVillar Like the necromorphs from the dead space series. Lol. Though I think regardless of punching or stabbing necromancy would heal and fix both.
You will see this with a lot of early warhammer races like from warhammer 1 where they have horrible animations.
Like longbeards diving into the enemy or dwarf battle lines hopping to attack the enemy.
Seems like the later races in Cathay avoid stupid animations but theres probably no chance game 1 races ever get these issues addressed.
have you considered making a video talking about the best and worst factions at domination; along with possible faction changing to help? I think content creators like you and Italianspartacus have been an amazing voice for the community for the last few years.
@@SonofKiernan Land Battle? You mean the mode that corner camp and noob box are legit?
i'll definitely think about it! might still be a bit too early to judge
@@pandainjail Here’s the thing; you’re a guy interested in TWW3 PVP
I’m an old leech tryna get you into a Land Lobby
You like Dom Mode
Either way you wanna play, I like you and support you. My preferences are built in from years ago but imma support you in PVP or PVE or DOM. GLAD you’re passionate brother!! 💪🏼
What you thought was a powder build was actually an amethyst wizard build

Notice how without any blood, cannon fire impacts on infantry are just comedy.
How are your intros so fire ever single time? Props man keep up the excellent work!
Yay Vampire Coast. I haven't seen enough games from any of the creators with them.
@@alltaken21 I'd rather say it's cuz ranged factions generally aren't the best in domination so they aren't picked a lot. Ofc leading to us not seeing them in replays and stuff. Plenty of people love watching artillery fights myself included.
Is it just me or is nobody playing domination with Vampire Coast? I'd really like to see how they do in the new game mode.
been watching a few of your videos here and there as recommended by youtube, and gotta say, the commentary and the way things are explained for the benefit of newer players (aka me) and presumably some more experienced players is a great boon, and the visuals are also a treat. getting those sweet close-ups, panning views etc. helps a lot with staying engaged
At first I thought you changing the color of the UI element, balance of power bar etc. was a colorblindness thing, but I see it's colored thematically!
its me changing it! color wheel lets you make the ui/healthbars whatever you want
Wow I had no idea who was going to win that. The Luminark saved the day. So many battles I see a key unit not properly chased off the map.
Suddenly realised how long i have been watching your battles, and they are still insane bro keep it up
This battle makes me appreciate little grom, you can't shut it down with a single AOE spell
Super fun game to watch! Both of you guys are creating awesome videos :) and i am looking forward to more matches with rubber duck of war too. He is a really cool guy. Keep up the good work Indy! :)
Indy, I gotta say you are hands down the best TWWH host on YT. Your narration is entertaining and still relaxed. No over the top jargon, no needlessly fast talking, no forced excitement. Which makes your use of modulation and vocabulary much more impactful, you really guide the viewer through the battle, something no other YTer manages. No disrespect to Turin, Spartacus or the RubberDuck of War, they all do a competent job, but you are in a leauge of your own, the Everchosen of TWWH battle casts.
Looking forward to playing these races again soonish- hopefully in a less Total War: Minor Settlement Battle game
hahaha not gonna lie the hallo poppet at the start was the most cursed thing ive heard all week
Can we just take a moment to appreciate one tiny little detail: the Empire's cannon balls that you see lying around are just normal cannon balls (no surprise), but the Vamp Coast cannon balls are encrusted with barnacles (timestamp 3:38-3:40). How's that for avoiding asset reuse.
I am so ready to lose months in Immortal Empires when it arrives properly.
Unrelated, but can I just say it's cool to see lore blurbs at the end of the battle. This one referencing Repanse. Love that kinda thing.
Thank you for posting Noctilus! Ive been waiting forever for his showcase..
The textures really look soooo much better in game 3
Hey Indy!:) Just watched the first 30 seconds, and have to say 2 things. First, jeah man zombie pirates crank that cool factor up by 1000, only thing missing is the "ninja". Zombie Ninja Pirates with Robo Heads! And second, the reason I (personally) watch your multyplayer stuff with so much enjoyment, is the fact you are covering 95% land battles, there is just something special and unique about them and when they are from you casted :)
Sure I would watch you play dom, but to watch you tell a little storyline in each landbattle (or the videos about lore, leaks and so forth) is like the 15 minutes of peace each day after a hard day of work:) Just wanted to say that I really, really enjoy your landbattles!
Yesss I have been waiting for your video all day
imagine the sheer terror the human troops must feel when they see the titanic living ship just blasting battalions of troops with ease.
This is one of my main frustrations with the vampire coast. They are my favorite faction in the trillogy, but their paper thin infantry makes it so frustrating. Yes, their function is to act as chaff so your more valuable units (crabs and cannons) can engage the enemy. But god do i wish they had more health, feels like they lose a quarter of their hp whenever an enemy looks at them.
I think they'd warrant a slight increase in Heath for sure!
My main gripe is the supporting units. They really lack mobility and that's okay, but the depth guard, crabs and flyers just feel lackluster in my opinion. I'm not a Two Warhammer novice at all, I just feel like their options have less potential than others who have just as almost as good artillery but just far better options in every other regard.
@@Necromacer67 The crabs are quite good at what they do, I don't think those need anything. The Depth Guard are a pity; I like the concept of having extra low unit models for extra high stats, but the cost just doesn't reflect the significant drawbacks of low model count. They've also been very reticent with the fliers - now that there are so many flying factions, surely aerial shooting units can finally be allowed to be decent.
Their only elite infantry (Depth Guard) are damage-dealers. Mid-tier you have Syreens, who can be OK but can also get hard-countered. It always felt to me like the Vampire Coast needed a mid-tier holding infantry that's a bit more resilient than the deckhand mobs.
Those noct shots down the ranks of the free company were gross lol
Man i don't wanna FUCKIN wait for the 23rd
Gotta say, the AC 4 theme in the background makes the Vampire Coast feel a ton more cool and piratey
The aesthetics of the undead factions in this trilogy have been excellent so far. I wonder how things are gonna pan out if we get more varied vampires, like the chaos warrior rework dlc.
@@DzinkyDzink yup, already in the flavour text for a landmark building in Cathay
Great game, love the land battle and some old school Empire gunpowder... Nicely done by Rubber Ducky. 10/10. SO much better than Domination games.
Domination is much more balanced and there are no trash units there.
From a viewer perspective, yeah land battles are more fun to watch.
The two best warhammer content creators on the field
Always difficult, when you have too many high priority targets to deal with. Great battle!
Welcome to Lustria gentlemen.

Battles like this are why land battles are so entertaining.
Super unique feeling and cool battle. Very entertaining!
This was a good old-fashioned slugmatch. Who needs high micro cavalry play, we have artillery.
Best battle I've seen. I'd have conceded within the first two minutes.
Great video, Indy!
Best Quote ever: Half of the Zombies are already dead...
I have never played multiplayer battles nor will I ever I feel like but I love these videos man
I see Vampire Counts/Coast, I click video. Simple as.
Another epic video 🤝🏽
Oh dear God did I hear noctilus is ready to "peg a lot of dudes"
love seeing vampire coast content
I'd have rage quit after losing most of my chaff on the march. good job holding together.
"a nightmare situation for the undead" is not a phrase i expected to ever hear.
You do you but I'm loving all the land battles.
Funny thing, that pit of shades on the Hammer of the Witches actually reminded me a lot of the original War of the Worlds book. Artillery getting wiped out with a blast of otherworldy bullshit before they can do enough damage to turn the tide is kind of a big theme there.
Fun battle. Would say the zombie dogs are gonna be a staple in this matchup.
I love the Vampire Coast my favorite faction I think I may do a Harkon or Noctolus campaign for my first IE campaign in warhammer 3 although right now I'm really leaning to Torox because I think the beastmen uodate was the best update to date. Beastmen are definitely rapidly becoming my favorite campaign especially Torox campaign.

@@joshmilner4864 looks very "in tune" with 8th edition magic though lol just change spirit leech's for purple sun's
It's weird seeing a battle between these factions with no blood
Yeah, I feel like if your going to go cannons with the Coast, you really need to go all-in: something like two Necrofexs and two cannons to just completely goon anything big, even if you have to ditch your mobility to do it.
Would still probably default to double Gunnery Wights, even if that gets boring, though...

Could you potentially do a 4v4 battle between the chaos gods and an order tide. Maybe the empire, Cathay, Bretonia and Kislev or something like that ?
we will do team subcommanders and sieges once IE is out for everybody. not possible right now, dont have enough players

Do you switch up the team colours per video on purpose? Seen multiple of your videos now with different colours every time

How has no one done skarbrand vs taurox yet!!
Is this battle map just well optimized or lower settings?
Are crab crew from killed crabs walking alongside them?
God damn Pit of Shades needs a nerf. Seems like every update or DLC there's at least one spell that is out of control (Burning head then pendulum)
probably true, but i dont think this is a good example of that. its an artillery crew, squishiest units in the game. i would definitely expect an overcast vortex to take them off the map
Hey indy since you have access to the rosters could you please tell me if they updated the ancient salamander at all or is it still nerfed to fuck
Hello, it's your boy agian recommending indy to do a Markus vs torus battle.
Yeah, I think Queen Bess would have helped a lot. She's the best artillery piece in WH2, IMO, and she will one-shot all other ancillary units. That is not really what she made to do, but maybe targeting 1 or 2 pieces of artillery, getting them off the field then switching targets would have helped.
VC is my fav faction, so I have a question Aranesia is the weakest out of all the lords of the roster, so I was wondering what you would recommend for her to be a bit more balanced. Making a mod for her and would like some advice.
Quack!
Are DD bombers finally decent? They refuse to buff their dmg.
What’s that blue UI you’re using? Is it a mod? If so what one :)
How do you manage to play those factions in multiplayer ? Is the alpha access public ?
Needs more dakka
CRAB PEOPLE
Land battles are much more fun
You needed to commit to winning the arty fight or flooding the back line. I find empire and HE players will try to beat you in the arty fight because they have the mobility advantage. Maybe 2 or 3 cannons
yeah got caught too much in the middle ground i think. more artillery or more speed would have been the play
gg
Pit of shades seems a bit ott in most videos I've seen
probably true, but i dont think this is a good example of that. its an artillery crew, squishiest units in the game. i would definitely expect an overcast vortex to take them off the map
Dang these battles that feel like they have 5 phases in them is why I keep coming back to Total War lol
Quack
@@arubberduckofwar8415 If it isn't the duck himself
Holy shit it's RubixRaptor. Howdy!
Yeah that's the beauty of Warhammer Total War. The arcadiness and reworked routing system made it possible for a battle to consist of separate stages during which the victory might seem in the hands of one player and then the other.
