At 70 I have seen and heard a multitude of metal bands and without wanting to criticize or denigrate any of them, these young women are the most talented I have seen and heard. They have changed my musical universe so much they are above everything that has been done. And by far !

This band was the best thing I have discovered in many years and as you said, they are very inspiring, they made me interested in learning music and instruments, something that I never thought I would do.
Please come back to more Lovebites, I promise you will not be disappointed.
The black haired guitarist was between 4 and 5 months pregnant when this concert was recorded. She also played several other two hour concerts around this time in 2021.
LOVEBITES is a heavy metal band founded in 2016 by Miho (bass) and Haruna (drums), but they made their major debut in just half a year after their first performance, and performed band activities mainly in Japan/UK/EU. . Starting with "WACKEN OPEN AIR2018", they have participated in major metal festivals in each country and have already been highly evaluated.
In addition, he has deepened friendships with other famous bands, such as accompanying "Dragon Force UK Tour 2019" as a support act.
From the moment they chose white feminine stage costumes, which can be said to be heresy in heavy metal, they decided to become "a lone wolf-like existence" and made the wolf the symbol of the band. And people who were bitten by LOVEBITES began calling themselves "Wolfpack".

Lovebites are so freakin hell of musicians. Love these ladies and all japanese rock bands, they're nailing it.
Love these ladies, blowing all the metal norms clear out of the water. Should be required watching for every girls secondary school to show what is possible. What brilliant role models.
Watching you smiling through the whole song told me you were bitten. I was sold 30 seconds into the first song I ever saw of theirs….a new favourite band, right there and then. That was almost two years ago. Now I don’t play anything else, and (here in the U.K.) I spend every evening checking out every new Lovebites reaction, giving both you and, for me, more importantly, the band, some support. These ladies deserve far, far more attention than they are currently getting, and people such as yourself are helping them get it. So thank you for reacting to the best band in the history of music, and welcome to the Wolfpack.
Finally girl! I swear I'm happy to see you do a video review of one of the greatest metal bands of these times. These girls are awesome, there are over fifty songs and you can't find anything that isn't above average! My school is thrash metal, I've been a drummer for forty years, I've heard everything in this life, but Lovebites ripped my soul out and I still don't know why! Cheers!

Thanks for the reaction! LOVEBITES are the GODDESSES of heavy , power , thrash metal ! In 2018 , LOVEBITES won the prestigious Metal Hammer GOLDEN GODS Award for "Best New Band" (London,UK). The winners of the GOLDEN GODS Award in different years and in various categories were such famous bands and musicians,such as : Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden, Motörhead, Twisted Sister, Ozzy Osbourne, Lemmy Kilmister, Zakk Wylde, Nikki Sixx, Joe Perry, Judas Priest, Anthrax, Slayer, Saxon, Nightwish, Rammstein, Sabaton, Children of Bodom, Arch Enemy (and this is not a complete list).
LOVEBITES is a Japanese female power metal band, formed in 2016 by former Japanese heavy metal band DESTROSE members Miho( bass,backing vocals) and Haruna(drums). The band has successfully performed at various major international rock-festivals many times .In the spring of 2018, LOVEBITES performed on the Japanese leg of the Warped Tour. In August 2018, they performed at Wacken Open Air (Germany), becoming the first Japanese female rock band to perform at the festival. Also in August 2018 they performed on the main stage of Bloodstock Open Air (UK). In 2019, LOVEBITES performed at the Download Festival in both Donington (UK) and Madrid (Spain). Their performance in Donington was named by the festival organizers and Metal Hammer magazine as one of the highlights of the festival! In the same year they performed at the Graspop Metal Meeting (Belgium) and the Summer Sonic Festival (Japan). Unfortunately, the Covid pandemic that began in 2020 prevents LOVEBITES from performing at festivals and forced a drastic reduction of concerts.
LOVEBITES is a phenomenal band, all the ladies are talented musicians! For 5 years they have recorded about 50 songs and all the songs are very good!
🐺Miho - bass, backing vocals (in August 2021 she left the band).
🐺Haruna - drums.
🐺Midori - guitars, backing vocals.
🐺Miyako (Mi-Ya)- guitars, piano, keyboards, backing vocals.
🐺Asami - lead vocals, piano.
🐺Fami - bass (since October 2022)
🐺Miho started playing bass in high school. Great bass player! The fact that such a wonderful band appeared is, first of all, the merit of Miho. She came up with the idea of starting a band and what kind of music the band would play, a combination of power metal and "old school" heavy metal. Miho was able to find and unite all these talented ladies in LOVEBITES.
🐺Haruna has played drums since she was thirteen years old, and began writing songs on a keyboard at fourteen.
Haruna is the smallest (4 '9 ") , but appearances are deceiving. When Haruna sits down at the drums, this is the "little BIG Engine." She is one of the best drummers in Japan.
🐺Midori (blond hair) has been playing the piano since she was two years old and the electric organ since she was eight. She started studying guitar at the age of 20. Super guitarist, "Crazy Shredder". She surpasses many male guitarists in speed and technique of playing the guitar.
Graduated from ESP / MI JAPAN Osaka , GIT-DX department (superfast guitar department). ESP / MI JAPAN Osaka is an international music school , headquartered in Hollywood, California, USA.
🐺Miyako (black hair) has been playing the piano since the age of three, received a classical education (piano) and wanted to pursue a career as a pianist. She has been playing the guitar since the age of 18. Super guitarist! They call her "The Golden Touch" and she is a real musical genius. Miyako is the main composer of the band, she wrote over 50% of the music.
* In terms of teamwork , synchronization and harmonization of guitars , Midori and Miyako today are perhaps the best pair of guitarists in the world playing metal. One music critic said that two guitarists of this level (Midori and Miyako) in the same band is a crime!😊
🐺Asami started with R&B and soul music . She studied classical ballet for about 16 years (this is noticeable in her movements on stage, especially the movements of her hands). Started ballet lessons at the age of two. After leaving school, Asami lived for some time in the US, where she came to study jazz and hip hop dance. Plays the piano. Asami wrote most of the lyrics of the band's songs.
All songs LOVEBITES are written in English. Unlike other metal bands, LOVEBITES are always on stage in white dresses . White dresses are their style. The Wolf is the mascot of LOVEBITES and is featured on all band's albums except the first EP "The Lovebites". The band's fans call themselves the 🐺Wolfpack🐺

LOVEBITES has a song called "When Destinies Align" that has a line that says, "It is failure that has brought us here," which is perfect for these five ladies. Haruna (drummer) and Miho (bass guitar, left the band in August of 2021) were in a band called Destrose that disbanded after many lineup changes, Miyako (the brunette guitarist who was pregnant during this show) was in A Drop of Joker which disbanded (her other band, 21g, would officially disband in 2019 and a side project, Sonic Lover Reckless, never went anywhere), Midori (blonde guitarist) was in Gekijo★METALicche for their short time together, and Asami (singer) was a live backup singer for other acts and had a solo career that never took off. From all those ashes rose LOVEBITES, and now with the recent announcement of Fami becoming their new bass guitarist, the future looks bright for LB. Thanks for reacting to them.

Hello. Well, you’ve just watched greatness. Yes, these women are extremely talented, skillful and versatile exceptional musicians. Currently they are one of the best, if not the best, metal bands in the whole world (male or female). Those twin lead guitar solos by Midori and Miyako are already legendary, in just six years. Their live performances are outstanding.

For anyone who loves the old school Speed/Power metal and Thrash metal (Iron Maiden, Megadeth, Metallica, Judas Priest, Slayer, Testament) NEEDS to learn that this band exists. Musically, they are probably the most talented hard rock band performing today, and they simply don't have a bad song in their catalogue.
Quite frankly, they are freaking amazing.
All the Japanese all-female and female-led bands are putting out all the best Rock and Metal music of the 21st century - Lovebites, Band-Maid, Nemophila, Asterism, Babymetal to name but a few.

But I also recently discovered a Korean all-female hard rock band called Rolling Quartz. In terms of musical ability, they are a level below Lovebites (which to be fair describes most bands in the world), but the style they play doesn't require them to have the skill to play at Lovebites' speed. I think everyone loves watching a first time reaction to the White Wolves. And I certainly loved yours. The 'Wolfpack' will now probably descend upon your channel with a mountain of information & suggestions. I have at least a dozen songs in my top 3 favorites. You'll see why as time goes by. Their live performances are always sensational.

I do not particularly like superlatives and still less elatives, so I keep it sober: For me this is the most brilliant band in the field of Metal today. Everything is beyond compare - the songs, stage appearance, the musicianship. Never watched and listened to a band that perfectly balanced.

They named the band after the Grammy winning Halestorm song, Love bites (So Do I). Lead singer ,Asami, has joined Lzzy and the boys onstage to perform that song.
Miyako the darkhaired guitarist to our right was 4 months pregnant when they recorded this concert, thats why she is the only one without high heels exept for the drummer of course..

I'm nearly 50 years old and heard pretty much every rock/metal band going. But it's been a long time since I heard something that grabbed my attention like these girls have. Simply awe-inspiring. The best music I've heard in years.

More Lovebites? Whoopee! If you're a fan after one song then you are really going to have your mind blown. They have some fifty songs in their repertoire and there's not a single bad one among them. I'll not burden this comment with s detailed history of the band because, as you are about to find out, the fans who call themselves the "Wolf Pack" are about to come calling in force and you'll be inundated with background information. Suffice it to say that you've just found the best female heavy metal band on the planet and one of the best of either gender.
I only like about 4 of their songs. Holy War, Set the World on Fire, Crusade and Thunder Vengeance. Maybe one more. And only live versions. I think they're a great live band. I'd buy a ticket. I don't think most of their songs are good.
@@Jordan-Ramses Have you listened to all 50 songs? I think not. Have you listened to songs that you "don't like" at least 4-5 times (each song)? I think not. You start to feel some songs and, all of a sudden, you start to like these songs after repeated listening to good equipment with good acoustics (better in good headphones), when you hear all the small details of the arrangement, etc. It is a paradox that often those songs that a person was not interested in at first suddenly become his favorite songs after several listenings. I'm not trying to persuade you to become a fan of LOVEBITES. 🤗Maybe it's not your music. This is normal, you are entitled to your own musical taste and opinion.
Yess!! You are slowly reacting to all my favorite bands that I also discovered online the last several years. These ladies I adore, along with Bandmaid. You've done Nightwish, Sabaton, Epica, Ayreon. Although Jinjer is excellent, it is not my type of vocals. But you have already greatly broadened your own horizons, and I will enjoy watching your musical journey of discovery. I wish i could find other girls like me to play with, but i will never delude myself that i could EVER play to the standards these women play at. "Holy Wars" was written (music and lyric) by Miho, bass and band founder, with Mao, unofficial band member. Miho has left the band and after a worldwide search via audition recordings they now have a new bassist, Fami. Check "Bravehearted" short ver.
They are all petite ladies and to be seen on the Dark Metal Stages they choose to wear white to reflect the lights for them to be seen. Asami, vocals is 4'10" and Haruna, drums is 4'9"!!
Miyako, first guitar solo, has never taken guitar lessons, and Midori, second solo, didn't begin seriously playing the guitar until she was 20.
I'm sorry.....🙏 "Holy Wars" is MEGADETH. "Holy War" is LOVEBITES. 🤗These are different songs.

First time? Really? Well damn, you’re in for a treat! They have a new “sister” band now, Lonesome_Blue, they are a little different hit equally good quality. No love stuff yet but their MVs are cool.
I was one of the no doubt many who highly recommended Lovebites to you - as I've said before, I haven't steered you wrong yet !😆 May I suggest 'Swan song' next but it has to include the Chopin piano intro - you'll love it I'm sure - and you'll probably have to pick up your jaw from the floor too! 😃Not sure if you've covered a Canadian band called 'Unleash the Archers' yet - they're worth a listen too. 'Beyond the Black' from Germany whom I saw live a few weeks ago here in London - female led also. And my favourite band apart from Nightwish (still haven't managed to sell those tickets sadly) 'Babymetal' - they are not just a band but a whole experience - their live shows in Japan are on another level - if you ever get to do one of theirs, maybe don't start with 'Gimme Chocolate' as 99% of all reactors as it's had a gazillion views - they've got many more wonderful songs. Gotta add Destrose to the list of great bands. So many other bands were formed by Destrose alumni - Mary's Blood (Eye, Eri, Kayo and later Saki), Disqualia (Narumi and Risa☆Risa), Nemophila (Saki), Amahiru (Saki), Fate Gear (Mina) and not to mention Lovebites (Miho and Haruna),

One of the best metal bands of this generation 🤘
Congratulations, you just found the best new metal band to come along in decades. In their five years of existence thus far, they have easily put themselves on par with the greatest bands of metal’s golden age. Other reviewers have described them as alien superheroes disguised as young women, angels, princesses of metal, and angry bridesmaids. They recently went on a year-long hiatus while they searched for a new bassist. They announced the new bassist in October 2022 and their fans eagerly await their next move. Some background:
They were formed in 2016 from the remnants of a legendary all-girl Japanese metal band called Destrose (yes, all-girl metal has been a thing in Japan since at least 1981). Miho (bass, chief headbanger and founder of the band) had a vision of a new band in the style of the great European bands of the golden age of metal. She recruited her former bandmate Haruna (drums, 4'9" “pocket nuclear reactor”); they needed two world-class guitarists, and so they went and found Midori and Miyako, who were with other groups. The four of them then found Asami, the singer, who was doing soul and blues at the time (she was also trained in ballet).
Miyako has composed a little more than half of their music, with Miho composing a lot of their thrashier songs in collaboration with Mao, the lead composer of another band called Lightbringer. Midori has also been getting into the act, and they regularly perform a song written by Haruna as well. Asami writes most of the lyrics. With Miho having left for personal reasons, they recently announced their new bassist, Fami, who is a young phenom and herself a composer and multiinstrumentalist.
They studied all the great historical metal bands going back to Purple and Sabbath, through Maiden, Priest, Metallica, Helloween, Slayer etc. They toured with Dragonforce in 2019, and word from those in attendance was that next time around, it will be the ladies headlining. They have incorporated some of the best of each of those bands into their arsenal, and have created a sound that is fresh and cutting edge while paying tribute to the old masters.
They do everything from soulful power ballads to heavy thrash. Almost every song includes face-melting solos by Miyako and Midori. The two guitarists are quite different in style and tone. Midori (blonde ponytail) is the extrovert and speed demon; Miyako is the introvert, with the more soulful feel (though she can also shred like crazy). Midori uses a cleaner tone, Miyako uses more distortion, pinch harmonics and pedal effects. The contrast makes their duets rich and dynamic. It doesn’t hurt that either one can smoke most of the shredders in the classic metal bands. As another reviewer said, "It seems criminal these two are allowed to be in the same band."

Miyako is also a virtuoso concert pianist, and was headed for a career in classical music, before picking up the guitar. In my opinion, in the music videos for these three songs, Miyako&Midori seem to play slightly more complex or slightly longer solos than in Live.
Also, Asami keeps her high tones more beautifully in her music videos than in her LIVE performances.
The girls will recreate these three songs, which would be difficult to recreate in a music video, as tightly as possible in Live.
