The Beat is from the Nas Song Halftime, with added Embellishments like Guitars from Ren, but all the Lyrics are Rens own apart from "Sleep is the Cousin of Death", which is a Nas Lyric, Ren also used a lot of phrases in his Lyrics from the comments on the Nas Halftime Video on CZcams
He also borrows two lines from Big L. "That's like China without rice or the Holy Bible without Christ"
It is Calgary :) he's living there while getting treatment for his autoimmunity illness. I love this song, he did the flows so well and the lyrics are madly entertaining 🤩

It’s ironic you commented that it’s Calgary. In the behind the scenes they did of shooting the video, Ren wanted to go under the bridge because he thought that angle made it recognizable. He was apparently right. 💜

Perfect statement: Ren exists in any genre he wants. Yep. Whatever you want, there's a Ren for that. Even with rap, he brings a musical tone and clear diction into it and this has allowed me to start to understand rap. And conversely he's introducing older genres to people who are unaware of it. We can all meet in the world of Ren.
