He fought depression when his father passed and turned to alcohol for the answer. He soon realized that he’d never be happy that way and decided to make a change, and in just a few years he became a top Olympian. And he did the unthinkable. He not only won the Mr Olympia title at age 43 being one of the oldest to do so, he defeated the reigning 7x Mr Olympia Phil Heath who people thought was unbeatable. He died a legend. Innocent until proven guilty. That being said what if he did actually rape someone? Will we ever know? If he didn’t they should clear his name. The person that accused him if she’s lying she should go to jail. It’s horrible if it’s not true. Someone needs to be held accountable. Hopefully his name will be cleared someday and he didn’t actually do this.

A man so humble and kind that it is absolutely unbelieveable that life hit him so bad after his olympia winning. Shawn is a very deep and pure soul. This guy fought back from depression to his absolute goal the olympia title. After that he got wrecked from some fraudsters, denied to get on stage since 2019. Shawn it would have been a dream see you on stage one more time. The time you won in 18' was a breakthrough for a man with asthetics, a man with character, a good good man. We will dearly miss you! Makaveli, I was commenting back in 2018, in your video, concerning Mr' Shoden's victory, and Phil Heath's defeat. Little did i know, that, this generous gentleman, this humble giant, this mass-aesthetic god that did the impossible ( defeating the Gift), was going to suddenly pass away, few years later. Life is so small, so fragile and the only thing that we can do is live it without any regrets, like Shawn did. He fought, he became king, and we all gonna remember him, as a role model that became one of the greatest, mr Olumpia, of all time! R.I.P Shawn!

Thank you for this presentation of Shawn Rhoden with him working out in the gym and some shots of his Olympia win in 2018. Finally I found what I have been looking for over the last few days in Instagram and You Tube. This presents Shawn Rhoden in the way I want to remember him ...as a great bodybuilder....This also brings back many memories for me as I was in the audience watching, and it was the first time I had been to the Olympia. I wish Shawn could have competed again. I wish I could have watched on Instagram and You Tube his workouts and prep for another Olympia. I am thankful I have the positive memories of Shawn Rhoden winning the 2018 Olympia.
i dont know what to say man, i may have changed my mindset towards fitness over the couple of years but i started out watching bodybuilders and do bodybuilding in the beginning so it’s sad to me to see all of these great guys passing so fast 😔

Things that I couldn't do, couldn't say, couldn't find, are the things that Shawn did!! He found the will, the courage, the discipline, the dedication and the strength to fight through the hardships and move towards success. But his passing made me realise something, all of those things he has now passed on to me. And I must do what need be done!! You will be remembered!!

I saw something that said RIP Shawn Rhoden and immediately looked it up to see if it was true. Truly a very sad day. Bodybuilding has lost another legend another champion. It's disturbing these guys are dying at an alarming rate. We need to find out why before all of our legends are gone. Rest in peace brother. May God bless and protect your family in your absence. Then I go to know him through following, and I’m happy I did follow him! You can't really put everything on the coach. It should be common sense that being 46 and being nearly 300 pounds is not a good idea. Yes, it sucks that he died, especially for his family.
The question must be asked now is there a correlation with these jabs being administered and these deaths ...: like come on all of a sudden all these deaths within a 12-15 month span
