Therefore, the Spanish side chose a strategy of total defense with sharp aggressive lunges during transitions to attack. One of them actually resulted in the first goal: Lewandowski accelerated a counterattack, Yamal made a great diagonal pass into the box, and Raphinha successfully scored with a rebound strike.

Barcelona could have scored two extra goals if Cancelo and Yamal had passed the ball to Lewy because he was unmarked. Decision making of both Cancelo and Yamal is questionable sometimes especially when there are defenders in front of you and it will difficult to score instead of looking whether there are unmarked teammates near you who have better change to score.
