I squeezed the pump and started the car but it didnt start, I then tried starting the car again and again it didnt start. I then squeezed the pump once more and tried turning the car on after and it started. I left it run for 5 mins before turning the car off. Did I introduce air into the fuel system? If so, how can I bleed the system without taking apart the battery and air filter out again? Thanks!

Thanks for the very helpful video. Just managed to change the fuel filter, after a long battle! Just to note the fuel filter "bracket" on yours seemed to only have one 12mm bolt. Mine had two, with the other one a bit lower and bit of a ball ache for me to release with my basic tools. Managed to do it slowly with a basic 12mm spanner and a slight bending of the bracket! Guessing whoever did your filter previously didn't put the bottom bolt back in (wisely!) and neither have I!
