"Handsome Harry" "makes a three-way connection" and still manages to be "three-ways clean"! impressive
It's from the 50's hangover period of the early 60's where the hairstyles were just a tad more modern but a lot of the (mood) style was still very 50's prudish. This is typical of ads from the early 60's. They take a huge leap forward in 1965 and the 60's style and art really starts to kick into gear! Thanks for posting it!

2 months after this commercial was filmed, Cutie Katie learned that she was pregnant. Unfortunately, she wasn't sure if it was from the 3 way session with the Juke Box Boys or the quickie right after with Handsome Harry in the alley behind the studio.

in england, the UK on the whole, they probably started having these ads over the 90s.
According to the advertising insert in the 1960 Columbia Records premium, "Colgate Presents Great Sounds and New Sounds", 'smokes', it stated, "Gardol is Colgate's trade-mark for Sodium N-Laroyl Sarcosinate". Today, there's a variation of that formula ["sodium laruyl sulfate"] in every tube, omitting the name "Gardol".

Back then you could almost tell that someone was american from the white teeth. They started very early telling people how important fluoride dental cream and frequent flushing was. The difference between America and England was big , but maybe all the tea-drinking or something in England had some effect too?I dunno, but the difference was clear:)

This has to be from the very late '50s because in the early '60s Colgate went with "MFP" fluoride. Unforgettable jingle, though.

Colgate-Palmolive submitted the "Three Ways Clean" jingle for copyright registration in 1962.
HELP: Im looking for an old Colgate commercial. There is a teacher in the Kindergarten and she asks the kids which color her teeth have and one kid says grey.

@reneecalling Just look up "Skittles commercial". You will find one that has a guy with a skittles tree growing out of his stomach (Poor guy, His mom won't let him go to college) One that has a freak man who is milked like a cow (And is giving sour milk because hes eating sour skittles) And one where a man who can't touch anything without turning it into skittles. These three commercials make me want to stay away from skittles.
