In today's video, I'm going to cover one of the friendly budget builds on Tree of Savior! The build is Peltasta - Murmillo - Rodelero, a one-handed + Shield classes combo! All these three classes have powerful synergies with shield equipment by converting the Shield's defense into high attack values for skills. The goal is to keep the cost as low as possible and maximize profit, so you can finance or invest back into your main character.

Very nice guide! For a long time, SR main until the latest 480 contents came. I am now a full shielder build. It is very easy, convenient, comfortable to use for PVE farming/grinding compared to other PVE level 480 farming builds because it is an all-rounder build. I built mine HP/SP sustain with a full complete rotation in a few seconds 20+ packs of mobs are wiped out, no sweat at all because I don't have to worry about my HP/SP and the DPS is very descent because of the Retribution Ark. Additionally, after TAUNT, I use the Goddess Vakarine card that provides a descent DOT to a pack of monsters. It deals 1M damage per DOT for 10x, which is already a 10M damage after TAUNT. In other words, the shielder build is actually very fast and efficient and I see a lot of people in my server shifting their PVE characters to this one.
I farm in the last 480 Map btw, The magic association assembly area.
Oh man, i thought Swordsman wasn't viable for field-farming, but then i saw a bunch of players doing it in end-game maps, and seeing their rate per hours surprised me! Also, may i ask what's your current setup?
last thing that made me quit was the UI. I remember not being able to hide the loot notifications the the damage numbers, I want to appreciate my class visually.

Yes! You can tank + DPS at the same time. Field-farming is very important for end-game. You can buy all end-game materials with just field-farming!
how does this guide work with the newer content? Some people say that Cata is better than Murm at field farming right now
Both version works! I personally prefer Murmillo version. Cataphract has speed buff + AoE to gather mobs, which is pretty convenience!

Hey Jay! Yes! it's a pretty good starting build for swordsman! I also recommend trying out Chaplain-Inquisitor-Kabbalist build from Cleric too! You can tackle all end-game contents without chunking a single potion! Here's the build for it: czcams.com/video/f9SbyDbqbr4/video.html
Hey, what statdistribution here? Old days of tos, we pumped everything into dex because crit meta but I always wanted to do a more noobfriendly pump str and enjoy variant which was not possible. Any videos or explanation for stats would be nice too, looking forward to come back to the game after it's initial launch years ago.

Swordsman = STR
Wizard = INT
Scout = STR
Archer = STR
Cleric = STR or INT (We have something called property change attributes, which let us change all 3 classes into either physical or magic)
you want to pump your main stats. Raw atk > secondary stats like (DEX for physical) and (SPR for magic)
@@ShanochiTV Thanks, so in general I should raise STR and try to increase DEX for example with stats on gear or if necessary with points. What about CON?
@@mouhbear6769 You'll get DEX scaling eventually on physical classes. Crit atk isn't that great and you can also get physical critical attack from gears like Belt of Insight or Advanced Spaulder.
For weapon stats, focus on: STR + Critical rate + Attack against all race + perfection
Armor: STR + CON + Attack against all race + Critical rate.
Can u suggest any Peltasta build without Murmillo ? the helmet is kinda lame lol.

Hey lopez! Yes it's pretty decent! If you're looking for a starting swordsman build. You can also try out something like Nak-Templar-Barbarian, which is pretty popular right now for auto attack + burst spells.
