Making a Braided Rooster Tail style broom

  • I demonstrate making the rather complex Rooster Tail broom. This broom is not just tied, there's a kind of braiding that moves up the sides of the broom.

    I just started watching your video's today as I was searching for a way to make my own Broom and I am finding your work absolutely stunning and I now can't stop watching the videos...lol. I'm not addicted persay, I understand and respect fine works of creativity being a creative one myself. :) Thank you for your wonderful work.

    Do you soak the broom corn before you do this technique?

    what do you anchor the wire or twine to, down by your feet?

      Not sure what he's using here, but you can use a tying frame, of which there are several configurations. Just Google it and take a look. They're fairly simple contraptions.
