My husband and I were there for this performance and we had dinner outside at the Columbia on the porch/sidewalk area. From the restaurant we couldn’t hear Dovydas’ music. We live near downtown Sarasota and went to St Armand’s ONLY to see Dovydas. We only ate at the Columbia because of being there to see Dovydas.

@@charlesaveryjones5816 Thanks. The night this was filmed I saw another musician playing outside on the porch of a restaurant near where Dovydas was playing. (I don’t know the name of the restaurant. We passed by on the way to our car.) This unknown (to me) musician was also very good. I rarely go to St Armand’s so I don’t know but there may be a number of businesses that hire musicians and that’s the reason for the complaints. Hopefully Dovydas will keep us posted on the resolution.

This is real music - live performance - and outstanding. St Armand's Circle was created by Ringling Bros I believe. St Armands Circle Association need to remember that. Creative performance art should be at the centre of what St Armands Circle is about. The Association members need to get off the golf course and get out on the street and take note of what people want to see and hear. Dovydas - keep it going you give alot of enjoyment and pleasure to a lot of people🙂

Dovydas, you are an amazing performer. I first listened to you on CZcams. I came from Illinois to St Armand circle only to see you play. My wife and I were there for the start to the end of your performance. You were the destination and St Armands Circle benefitted as I patronized their merchants.

His talent amazes a mediocre guitar player like myself. One of the best guitarist I’ve ever seen. I think one of his songs that I love the best was “Echo Pulse”. It was a song he just. made up on the fly. He is so blessed to have that ability. He exudes beautiful musical arrangements like no one I’ve ever seen.

I lived in Sarasota for 10 years. St Armands was always one of my favorite places to go. Ben and Jerry's was first on the list. What a drawing card. A lot of cities would give an arm and a leg to have a draw like Dovydas.

When people who are just 'walking through' are singing the words right along with you, that's amazing. I see a lot of head bobbing, foot tapping, swaying bodies so you have a very appreciative crowd. I really enjoyed this and at my age will NEVER make it to Florida but I feel like I was there. Those few idiots from the 'ASSociation" are just that; enough said.

In order for the association to fine you or tell you what you can't do, you have to sign an HOA contract. Since you didn't...... ROCK ON! Very talented dude. A great addition to the town of SARSOTA. I would never have found you if SARSOTA didn't promote you. To the viewer on you tube, we can just turn our headphone volume down. Music is only loud because his wife is very near to the speakers filming him.
His music is louder to us on you tube (which makes it seem like it must be stadium concert loud when recorded live at the event) because he remasters each track so it is clear, enhanced stereo sound for us to fully enjoy!!! I have created playlists of just his audio from these videos since it sounds so good 👍👍

He’s been banned from playing there. His performances cause too much stress and emotional trauma for St Armand’s Circle association. It’s that new age fangled devil music attracting all the sinners. They have replaced his performances and hired a guy that can tap out songs on his teeth.
