I needed this slice of chill today. Studying for AP tests right now and it’s so stressful
omg I'm so glad you're skating!!! I used to all the time as a kid and I've been really wanting to pick up doing it again. Maybe sometime this summer if I have the time....also this was totally a nice video, I wasn't bored at all! I usually find these fun to watch while I draw or take breaks from drawing. It's just very calming to see someone else at work and living their life just vibing I guess lol. It was also an insightful look into freelancing! I've known of freelancing for awhile but it's cool to see what that real process looks like! Btw I'm living for your haikyuu obsession bc mood all day everyday

Thank you for sharing this insight into the day to day reality of working freelance and for explaining what it actually is/means and how you make it work for you. I have been freelancing for many years now,and it's great to haer about it from someone else who lives that workng life. There is a kind of freedom to be had workng for clients,a different kind to that when you are just creating you own personal work. I think the disiplne of working to a brieft and a dead line can give you a much stronger creative focus and I find this is something I can take into my own work outside of worknf for clients. I was worried lockdown would impact my work and I would have less clients, but thankfully the oppositte has been true so far,and it's good to haer you have clients that keep coming back to you. It's great to get new clients,works,but there is something to be siad for tehe value of regular clients too,t can be really motivating and a little confidence boost too. And there is the added bonus of getting to do something you love as a way to earn a living,and I am always thankful that I can do that and it motivates me to do thebest I can for my clients.It sounds like things are good for you work wise and I hope this continues with regular clients and potental new ones too. Thank you for showing us behind the scenes like this so to speak,it's inspiring for me to see another freelance doing well and enjoying their work.

I love these kind of videos. Even though they might not feel the most exciting to you I find them very calming and it's great to work along side with. I hope to one day become a freelance illustrator so it's cool seeing the day to day - even if it doesn't look much different from my wfh 9-5 job lol

It was really informative and interesting to watch. I guess I've been lacking on the 'freelancer' part lol.. A lot of people don't really hire writers/editors anymore and they mostly want artists, in my experience at least. I know that's apples to oranges, but I really enjoyed listening to you while I worked. Thank you, Pypah. All your tips and tutorials have helped lately

for work i usually use TV Paint or Adobe Animate CC! (depends on the project)

Hey Pipah! I know this is extremely unrelated to the video but I wanted some help, I draw for almost 10 years now, and I always have the same style, portraits, just the head and half chest, but this takes so much time with the realism and everything, I really wanted to do drawings like yours(full body with smaller proportions and semi realism), but I am stuck in the "following the reference photos" to the max style to look exactly like the photos

hey, i live in germany but could i go to America or eleswhere do be a animation student? Becouse i have been talking about what i want to do after school and i really like to draw and animating is really cool i think. :)
You can go anywhere you want as long as you're willing to pay for it! I'm pretty sure you could stay within Europe tho, there are some good animation schools here as well, so you don't have to travel to America unless you specifically want that
