- Since it's Thanksgiving, I decided to post a song that well...acutally has nothing to do with Thanksgiving. What would a good Thanksgiving song be anyway? I feel like I'm saying "Thanksgiving" too much in this description.
I hate to admit it, but growing up in rural America, Limp Bizkit's version was the first I heard. And although it's actually not that bad, I wasn't about to disrespect such a classic song and classic band. Hope y'all dig it and HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

Lyrics:
No one knows what it's like
To be the bad man
To be the sad man
Behind blue eyes
No one knows what it's like
To be hated
To be fated
To telling only lies
But my dreams, they aren't as empty
As my conscience seems to be
I have hours, only lonely
My love is vengeance that's never free
No one knows what it's like
To feel these feelings
Like I do
And I blame you
No one bites back as hard
On their anger
None of my pain and woe
Can show through
But my dreams, they aren't as empty
As my conscience seems to be
I have hours, only lonely
My love is vengeance that's never free
Mm, mm
When my fist clenches, crack it open
Before I use it and lose my cool
When I smile, tell me some bad news
Before I laugh and act like a fool
And if I swallow anything evil
Put your finger down my throat
And if I shiver, please give me a blanket
Keep me warm, let me wear your coat
No one knows what it's like
To be the bad man
To be the sad man
Behind blue eyes - Hudba
I've played guitar all my life and I'm now 67. I've played Behind Blue Eyes many times and I have to say that this is one song that is really difficult to get the flavor and feeling of the original on one acoustic guitar. But DUDE, you faw king KILLED it! I'm proud of you man.
That's super cool of you to say. Thank you!

@@AdamPearceMusic man you are so good.... been following you since the voice
@@AdamPearceMusic i never really liked the 3rd verse of this song, the transition from melancholy to a more upbeat felt too jarring for me. but you nailed that problem down, baptized it with gasoline, and burned it alight in a glorious bonfire. I'm going to have to buy this one and keep it on my phone.
@@kennywallace3517 thank you very much, buddy! Means a lot!

Fuq biscuit. You and Ritchie Kotzen ought to collaborate on this tune brother.🫵😎

Thats how you cover a song 👍
Thanks!
Wonderful Sound performance my friend yeah good song Thanksgiving i run to my Turkey gluglugluglu Lol
Haha! Happy Thanksgiving!
This was fucking great 🔥
Thank you!
Pretty good...I do have a couple of suggestions which relate to how The Who originally performed the song: First of all, you'd do well to keep a lid on the intensity level when doing the verses, so you'll have room to kick it up a few notches when you hit the middle eight. And second, when The Who hit that aforementioned middle eight, notice THEY DON'T SPEED UP! The guitars get heavier; the bass and drums come in, but the tempo remains the same as the verse---if you suddenly go into Ramones mode, it makes it hard to give the lyrics their due, with all that fist clenching, evil swallowing, coat wearing imagery. Anyway, keep on rocking. 🎙🎸
Yeah, I can dig all of that. Have you checked out my Baby Oreiliy cover? I like that one more.
@@AdamPearceMusic Thanks for not telling me to go eff myself (not everyone responds well to constructive criticism---hell, I'm not sure I do)! Anyway, I did go check out your cover of Baba O'Reilly, and was very impressed---I'd seriously consider sacrificing my left nut to possess a vocal range like that, and the guitar playing was strong as well. I was also impressed by your resume: your appearances on The Voice, and some of the musicians you've jammed with. Your miles-long song list includes many of my favorites, so I'll be checking out your site frequently as winter sets in here in the Boston area! ☃️🎸
pretty good
I'll take it!
When I looked at your subscriber count I thought it would be 4 million not 4k.
I'm working on it, buddy! Hopefully soon!
so bitchin'... those vocals REALLY put me in a southern rock or country frame of mind; but still sounding original. i'll bet he could handily NAIL any allman's or skynyrd material if he were into that genre.
Oh I'm VERY into that genre and I have several of their covers on here. I'm born n raised Southern Louisiana.
@@AdamPearceMusic - rock on, daddy. i'll look those up.
Fuck yeah BRO!!!!
Rock on!
Speaking of eyes, may I respectfully request you consider covering The Guess Who’s “These Eyes?”
You may!
Or Laughing, or Undun, or No Time...
Very nice, Great song, and great job Adam💕
Glad you're digging the channel, Klaire! Rock on!
Vocalist. ????

@@AdamPearceMusic Go for it kid!

Have you checked out any Yoyoka Soma vids? You should reach out for a jam…..she does great covers and collaborates with lots of musicians everywhere. I’d love to see it 😁
Never heard of her but I'll check it out!
i grew old believing this was Limp Biz"s...
Learn something new everyday.
Just take my sub.
Thank you!
he looks like young James Hetfield
czcams.com/video/91pz1E8pAOY/video.html first off, that is how you cover the who and give it your own signature. Well done. I noticed someone mentioned Yoyoko on a prior comment. She is this young drummer from Asia who is the definition of child prodigy. One of the greatest drummers I've heard in a long time. And I don't mean just good for her age, I consider her one of best drummers in the world. She was only 8 years old during this version of Good Times Bad Times, and her foot work is as good as John Bonham. She is closer to 12 now and making a name for herself
I very much appreciate that! And yeah, I checked her out. She's insane!
Brillant job man! 😊👌🏼👌🏼
I also do cover songs here if you want to check that out too 😊✌🏼
Thank you and will do!
you have a great voice...I bet you could do a kickass 90s Axel Rose...now I have no ear whatsoever, but your guitar sounds out of tune, especially in the cadd9 and asus2 chords
Thank ya!
Guitar slightly needs intonation
I'm not sure how you could tell that since I never went past the 4th fret on any chords. It could have been slightly out of tune though.
Am I the only one that thinks this is out of tune? Cool voice though.
