I've been eyeing this heat press but my hesitation has been with the clearance as well. Thanks for reviewing this for us. On another note, I recently tried their vinyl and loved it! Their regular perm vinyl was so, so easy to weed.
I have the blue. If you put it on auto it will go down by itself once you push the tray in. You can also turn the shirt sideways.
having to turn garments sideways can be awkward if you do not have space at the sides so you can see if its all lined up
I do mine sideways every time so I don't get confused on next shirt. Love auto too!

We loved this press when we first received it in January 2023. We only use it moderately (less than 6 items pressed per use per month). Now it is August 2023 and it will not close. It heats up perfectly but when we try to press it closes and pops right back open and the controls start blinking. It has also started making a grinding noise. I contacted warranty support as the press is under warranty, they responded requesting videos of the problems, we emailed videos back, they responded with they couldn't open the videos (they are too stupid to download them and use a player to view them), we uploaded the videos to our you tube channel (cause everyone has one of those) and sent them the links....There response was to give them significant time to troubleshoot the problem and they would get back to me. I’m sure enough time for my warranty to expire. I asked them point blank to honor their warranty and replace the press…Crickets!!!! Others here have complained about these same issues in the reviews on Amazon. THEY WILL NOT HONOR THEIR WARRANTY!!! I'll update this review if something changes.
I love this heat press, it’s so easy to use and always provide the right pressure, no more guessing the right pressure ❤
There is actually only....1 pressure lol it does not add more or less pressure it is just 1
@@marklola12 I understand that but with the older press that you have to turn to get the right pressure was always a challenge for me. With this new heat press I don’t have to worry about it and all my work comes out perfect

Here is a tip for your unboxing. Turn it upside down and open it from the bottom. After folding the flaps outward out of the way, turn it back right side up. Now just raise the box off of the item. Just remember to tape the bottom back close and open the top in case you have to use it again.

Thank you for the review of this auto press. I’m looking for another as well . I love my cricut easy press but it’s only 12x15. So this 15x15 will be great. We struggle to get mind out the box. We like it so far, we appreciate the pull out tray. We ordered the white and they only had mint so we accepted the mint which was a good choose. The automation is great. We are still getting use to the settings and it's heavy plus it gets really hot. Glad for your review thank you. We learned a lot, had no idea there were different modes..

Thank you for this video! It seems to be a fresh, modern approach for heat presses. I am thinking if they would have the space about an inch higher it would have been ideal.
More space would have been great but it definitely gets the job done

I’ve been waiting for you to review this press ( because I value you opinion ) I finally received mine as a backer on kickstarter. I opened it and used it briefly but just haven’t had time to use it continuously. I’ve heard inserting the shirt sideways also will alleviate your fingers getting burnt because of not enough clearance. Keep up the good work and have a blessed day!

This is a great review. I'm new to this type of thing and I'm trying to apply "Siser EasyWeed Adhesive" as a first step to later adhering foil to a jean jacket and on the first try it didn't stick. I used the manufacturer's specs, 300 degrees for 5 seconds, but it didn't work. Can you tell me if I would have to change some of the settings? Temperature, time or pressure? I don't know if the pressure can be regulated in this type of heat press
I got mines last week finally got to use it once,and I had to carry that big box up six flights of stairs all by myself 😢 but I love it so far

I've done sublimation, DTV, HTV and Holagraphic. They all did great. I love my press. I've had it for a few weeks now and have no regrets. Like most, I agree there are some things that would have made it better, mostly the space for top platen. but for the price. We all got a great deal

Just choose what size you want. There are so many different printers. I did a video review on some. You can’t go wrong with a printer. There are hundreds. Pick one in your budget.

Just unboxed my htvront press. Noticed the switch blinks until you press it again. Understand the directions an watched several videos. My question is does the switch blink as long as it is plugged in? I waited the 10 minutes. Light still blinking. Noticed the element was cooling. I unplugged it tonight. Being new to the press I didn’t want to take any chances.😊

Lay your t-shirt side ways on the press, easier to put your designs on it. Also if you press the A button and then push the bottom platten in till it clicks in place the top of press will automatically come down. :o). I really like this press.

Hi, Katrina Do you like this heat press better than your blue one from heat transfer warehouse? I’m looking for something compact, easier to use, and automatic. My purple one from heat transfer warehouse is a manual seeing away. But if you mean my big blue o e from pro world no that one is way better. It can’t compare to the HTV ront. I have full unboxings on all of them.

It definitely fits hoodies. I have seen others do it and I haven’t done dtf with it yet but I will try it soon

I found out there is a hack for more pressure on the htvront heat press. On CZcams. It won't hurt it. just a suggestion.
Correction Katrina you said there’s none other heat presses out there that can store custom settings. I have a Hotronix Fusion IQ and yes it can store and save many custom settings and it also comes pre loaded with custom settings. So just correcting you on that statement. 👍🏽👍🏽 love your videos.

Nice review; but will never buy another auto press….wasted time & money on the Cricut auto press; saw your video on the teal press (can’t remember name) and was sold on that one; returned the auto press and got a teal! Love it…I have to have control over the pressure…
That Cricut press is a joke and way over priced. I saw a few reviews on that. Crazy. But Pressure control is so key!
Cricut totally snapped on the price for that press. So out of line . Glad that there are other options and that Htvront came out with this one. My first big press
