Often in my personal experience it is Jews who are the most hostile to Judaism and to Jewish ideas even though these same Jews are usually very 'open-minded' and interested in other non-Jewish cultures, religions, and philosophies. These words of the Rebbe are so important to keep in mind when dealing with Jews of that unfortunate mindset.

Distinctions such as Jew and Gentile are real and valid on a relative level, but only on a relative level. On a higher level we are all human, and on the highest level everything is the same. When we allow ourselves to become too hardened in relativities it causes us to lose sight of the Absolute, and treat our fellow humans as separate.
