I've really had my eye on this bike but wanted more range. This answers all my prayers.

My setup is similar. 72v 65ah battery, 96 amp controller. 1 - 25ah battery and 1 - 40ah battery with a 120amp blender, 57 mph on flat. I have a 60 tooth front sprocket and a 11-29 rear. 8 speed shifter. Having the gears is really nice. I can pedal at low speeds and then pedal up to almost 40mph with the 60 tooth. Fellow CT native too!

@@maximumchargeEV I modified a Fucare Scorpio. I loved the look and the fact it was full suspension and a very durable frame design.
@@rolandroland1485 With the 65ah about 45 miles of full speed 55+mph then another 20 miles of speeds that top out at about 52mph due to voltage loss which leads to max speed loss. But 65 miles is plenty! If you ever wonder about range, its pretty much 1 amp hour per mile, so a 65ah battery is about 65 miles. 40ah would be 40 miles etc.. edit: full throttle only when speaking on the range per amp hour. No peddling.

I also have the motor goat V3 with dual batteries and I have the power goat V2 that has the Dual shocks on the back with an extra battery also and I can tell you it is the most fun I have ever had in my 50 years on this planet riding a bike. I take my 3 1/2 year old granddaughter out on rides every day because she absolutely has a blasty blast and loves going for a ride and it's so much fun that I highly recommend you pick up this bike while you still have a chance and before it gets limited on speed because going 50 miles per hour or more is absolutely amazing

@@maximumchargeEV I'm going to get the 50ah battery from Goat Power Bikes when it gets released so I can test that out. I'm working on moving all my stuff over to the V2 PowerGoat frame now. Defiantly run into a couple of challenges due to differences in the frame. I've gotten it mostly done now just waiting to get the tools to extract the headset from the V1 frame so I can finish it.

I had considered disconnecting the pedal assist on my bike. After speaking to a ebike enthusiast online he convinced me to keep the pedal assist. Basically he told me about having a moped style ebike with like a 50ah battery. He never used pedal assist and had taken a long bike ride like 25 miles away from his house. Well on his way back home, BAM his twist throttle went out on his bike. Welp he couldn't pedal it home because he had disconnected the pedal assist. Had he left it connected he says he could have at least pedal the bike home. Yes he would have been ghost pedalling but it could have gotten him home.
That makes sense! Never thought of it from a redundancy aspect

Nice job Alex I'm waiting to see how you do with the 100a sab because that will help me fig out what amp controller I will get for my bike. I'm looking for around the same speed I need to be able to go 45mph with out being full throttle all the time and stressing the system. But I will be on 16s but with molicels. So I can draw 200a easily. But never will lol.

My Etrike won't go anywhere near that far. I have a HJM Trike. I got another bike when one got stolen out side of a grocery store. You can never have to many locks. Plus get a apple air tag. I envy you living in a town were they have shops that will work on Ebikes. I called every bike shop in the town I live in and they don't work on Ebikes. So I learned how to do all the work myself.
always good to learn yourself but so many shops turn me down for various reasons. Kevin's shop is great, he def has the monopoly right now on taking care of ebike customers.

Your going to meet the Grim Reaper someday on that bike. It's bad enough drivers don't see motorcycles let alone those small E-Bikes. Great for off road only. I wish you safe travels on those public roads.
I try and stay on side roads whenever possible. I don't like main roads even if i had a full on motorcycle.
I was topped out at 35 on what was My Sondors Mad Mod scrambler. I programmed the wheel size to the smallest and was able to get 33 then adding road tires 35-36. Someone pulled out from a blind spot while I was in the bike lane boom. Limping 3 months later really bad sprain ankle with impact trauma. My front brake gave out that morning right before so no hope of stopping. Also if I was wearing riding boots I probably would have been fairly unscathed. But they were safely at home in my closet 😃.

Yessir! Let me know how that goes! I thought about fardriver but the dimensions of the sabvoton were better for this frame, along with being more beginner friendly
@maximumchargeEV agreed. I usually ride 60 miles wide open throttle. With what I've seen, the sabvatons burn up, and the fardriver is much more reliable with cooling. Does your supplier also make the top gas tank looking battery? Would be nice to have both in 72 volt 75 AH for the hills. Also are you running a stock motor?
Hey there, Alex, after sabvoton install, 2 things: were you able to use the stock throttle? And did you get controller for lights and horn to work?
I had to get a new throttle, couldn't find a way to use the stock throttle, I tried. I haven't gotten to the point of working on the lights yet.
I am researching to see if there are companies out there who can build or replicate our stock controller, but in 72v upgrade options.

Depends on how much power you demand from the battery. Could be a range of 20-40 miles. As for the hard shell case from goat bikes, the stock battery would fit inside but it would stretch the sides of the bag a bit. Would you just be storing the battery in the bag or trying to use it to power the bike while it's in the bag?

I have the power goat v2 and I purchased a second battery kit so my question is my stock battery is 66.7v fully charged and the 2nd battery came charged at 69.7v ive hooked up the battery blender so can I just hook up both batteries and go or what.. I belive the stock power goat battery is a 16s and the battery upgkits comes with 17s thats why the difference in volts..

How fast does it get to 45? I couldn’t really tell because of the constant cuts. Is it like the lyric graffiti x fast? Also can you fit molle panels on the sides? You can still use the stock motor with the new controller? Will you have to swap out the dashboard screen
Well at 57 amps x 71.4 volts full charge and barely any voltage sag, that's 4000 watts of acceleration, so it gets there pretty quickly. Funny you should say that I'm trying to figure out how to make some molle panels for the sides. Will be using the same motor but a new display.

It's literally just called "Speedometer" in Google Play Store and the app icon has "68 mph" in green font
I think it's some generic speedometer app. I use the one that has the biggest numbers so it's easy to see on camera.

You're only allowed to go 30mph on the fastest Legal pedal assist E-Bikes. So this is technically a motor class vehicle, which would make it Not legal without a plate and licence xD
