A/N: This is my gift for monicawoe for this year's spn_j2_xmas exchange! I tried to incorporate as many of her likes as I possibly could and I'm pretty content with the result, seeing that you can actually see all of them, depending on how you look at this video :)
The only difference is the song choice. I found this song and the lyrics very fitting to the demon blood storyline and I had so much fun working on this video and kind of getting all nostalgic about earlier seasons.
I know that this video can seem like a bunch of Sam's close ups (lol who cares) but seriously, there's an explanation of each shot and each line. In my head. But whatever. Enough rambling. Hope you like it guys! It's still a few weeks till Christmas but I've spent my BDay sick and miserable and finishing this thing so I'd say it wasn't the worst way to spend the day xD

I felt this in my very soul. You managed to capture why it is Sam is one of my favorite characters of all time. That struggle. That ever changing path he is on. Always trying to follow what he believes is right. And it made my heart ache. To see all of his experiences laid bare. All his pain. His love and hate. All of it somehow mashed masterfully into 4 minutes...you will always be one of the greatest masters at editing things in such a way where they feel fresh. I've seen this all before. Especially the earlier seasons. All of it. From the word go, even the earlier episodes dozens of times. Yet here it all feels brand new. Like I'm discovering some long forgotten episode until I remember that I HAVE seen this before. I just have never seen it presented in this way. Bravo.

This is amazing. The editing synching with the music is just perfect. It showed Sam's journey really well. Both of these brothers are just so entwined I can't even pick a fav. It would be like choosing between my own (non existent) children. I love them both; flaws and all but I wish Sam got a little more love and appreciation and this video shows exactly why. His journey and character development is just as incredible and heart-breaking as his brother's. I'm just a Winchester girl. Sam and Dean (and the Impala) are the only characters who aren't expendable. A SPN without Sam is just unthinkable to me.

I think it's really hard to get Sam. There're so many sides of him. Sometimes we forget how much he went through. Sometimes we want him to believe & trust Dean so badly because it feels right but man... seeing this, it makes you realize how much he had to go through. We know it. It's just seeing it in 4min can be really painful.
Your timing is perfect. Right after last week episode & Sammy telling Dean that maybe he will never be OK. Maybe it's him... It's too much. Your vids are too much.

Not only does this video surround my favorite character and all the hurt, pain, and sadness hes been through and how all he wants is to do the right thing and to help people even though everything comes crashing down, but the music in this video says a lot too. I love zack hemsey and this song brings me to tears because of its intensity and impact it has.
