This comment is an outcome from an immature listener with limited knowledge how band runs . And this comparison is the lamest I have heard in a decade .
Black reunion concert was much much better than this. I have to say Blackl musicians are stil performing at their best whereas artcell is like somehow hanging there!
Don't know am I listening cover of Rahur grash or original. I can challenge there are dozens of bands who can play the song more efficiently than this artcell line up. So it is clear that Ershad is the guy who made the artcell flavour. Jewel and Faisal is undoubtedly good musician but they haven't practiced the actual sound. Every band has a unique sound and fanbase, fans will never accept the sound which doesn't match with the original one, no matter how much better or improvised you play.
@@musicbynaush They play their songs on 0.7x now, which wasn't the case even when KFA alone used to play. So a compromise has been made surely for someone, still giving the benefit of doubt to Jewel. Maybe it is due to Lincoln's limitations. Jewel is unable to play the solos accurately, absolutely butchers the Onno Shomoy solo. I saw the Joy Bangla concert, its evident he tries to copy the original solos but ends up with horrible playing. Now don't come up with the "he tries to bring his own stuff" cliched argument. He doesn't. Artcell music is absolutely overkill for 3 guitarists. Now he being the senior guitarist, he takes over main solo duties from KFA, honestly even KFA is better than Jewel. Possibly the only thing Jewel offers to the band is studio expertise and a general advisory on productions, since he was the producer of the first 2 albums, maybe the 3rd one as well, which is where I think he struck a deal with the band, use his help, in turn get a permanent place in the band.
@lucyintheskywithdiamonds91 I just saw them live twice and I didn't see him butchering anything thats intolerable. He is not Ershad Bhai but IMO Jewel Bhai is a cleaner player than him, while Faisal Bhai is cleaner than most guitarists in BD. This is a great line up but it you belong to the Ershad camp, I see why you'd object. I'd rather have an album and a tour than a dormant Artcell.
