BRICS is an excellent platform to leverage strategic interests for the benefit of South Africa provided you have the right people representing the country. I think if South Africa was represented by the EFF we would cash in on a lot of things. We need strong men and women who have South African interests at heart to sit in those boardrooms and negotiate for us. Lead the discussions and shape it. We cannot afford to continue to be seen as permanent juniors in all international platforms. We have to take our rightful place and be counted.

A person who have never been sexually violated will never be able to to truly understand a victim. Also those who hide behind cry rape as a revenge, has killed the voices of those who are victims. Also a case that was not taken to court but difficult to proof the available proof doesn't necessarily mean that was a lie. Also live amongst rapists that hyenas and wolves that are masters that you can never say it's them but will get supported. Real victims take time to come out nor face those demons because of our justice system and society that is judgemental such that they push the victims to not come out or get them to feel intimidated.

For me what excites me is that we have added energy countries to the block to what we have already. it means we will be able to buy oil directly without going to the middle man "USD". That will bring the price of fuel down, food price down and make life affordable.That is the immediate benefit of being a BRICS member.
