Penny and sheldon are actually really similar with their thought process which is why whenever they team up they understand whats going on and do better then everyone else, they just apply those processes to different things, she probably coukd have been a physicist if her family had nutured a women in science type of mindset and put her in better schooling, the show needs her to show a different light and perspective that the others wouldnt get or else it would just be a show about assholes trying to one up each other and pretend to be friends.

So it maybe some sort of yet-to-be-decoded visual [only] running-gag. (Do note that the soundstage/studio the project films at is fully air-conditioned, and since the [indoor] taping takes place from the lead-up to autumn/fall and goes as late as early spring, Mr Nayyar is easily the performer who bears the most [in]convenience dependent upon the disparity between inside and outside temperatures. Assuming rest of the [Regular] cast doesn't wear some kind of thermalwear which remains hidden or edited-out of the final cut, with Ms Kuoco being an obvious exception given the incessant skin-show etched in the character.)

As in, not strictly in "real-time" (I'm not even talking about that ‘24®’ formulae) but in the ongoing time-period: So *given the general facts that US of A falls within the Northern Hemisphere [same as India] and closer to Arctic Circle, the climate of California being a costal state/province is not that moderate in spite of deep waters just next to it.
Thus, it makes sense that Rajesh wears winterwear almost entirely in Seasons given the American TV's utmost-valued season period.*
*P.S.* I won't say "dapper" or any such clichéd words but Rajesh certainly looks like a mansion-thug in that getup - in fact, if he wore nothing other than his outermost top clothing with camera angles and distance maintained strategically for content-regulation reasons, he would be the cliché image of "elitist Casanova"/"spoilt rich Casanova brat".

Metal-Max1991 In his defense, at the start of episode, they decided to do it because it would be fun. Raj probably didn’t want anyone to be upset when they lost and ruin that fun.
Unfortunately, completely eliminating the point of a competition makes it a waste of time, and it only gets worse from there when the competitors are too, well, competitive. Giving everyone a participation prize isn’t bad, but the winner needs something to make the win meaningful.

I actually liked Raj's trick ending. Maybe he should give something extra to the winning team but still, it was fun and clever.

the point wasn't the prize to begin with (who cares about a single gold coin anyway), but enjoying the hunt itself. if they considered going through each clue "trouble" instead of fun activities, they already lost. it's too bad only sheldon, howard, and amy got that.

The game was great, with nice and diverse riddle.
And the message at the end was perfect: no matter of who finish first, as long as you had fun, then in a way, you've won something.
@@xray3268 And that's all fine and good, but if you do that, for the love of god, don't dress it up as a competition that promises a reward at the end for only one winner. That's deception and they had a right to be pissed. If you're going to do a contest for funsies where playing is more important than winning, then set it up as such. Raj set up a great game and many fun riddles, but he marketed it as a competition and so they treated it as such. The reveal at the end is like slapping them in the face and making a mockery of their effort, especially when he pulled the coin out of his own pocket and declared himself a 'winner' along with the rest of them.
He deceived them, and they were right to be pissed at him for that. He should have made it clear that the game was meant to be played for fun and as a bonding opportunity, not as a competition to get to the finish line first.

Well, I honestly don’t like this episode. Bernadette to me was really annoying in this episode. I mean, this is NOT the Bernadette we know and love as she was written as a kind, mature and good hearted person, but here, she is none of that. Also, Penny was also cruel to Raj as well. Also, why couldn’t Raj tell anyone that it was a friendly competition? It’s just those things that really make me not like this one.
Although it ended in the way Raj didn't expect, the game was really good😂😂 It's a treasure hunt where everyone wins.

I adored this episode. Ok I adored EVERY episode. I didn’t think that I could love a show more than I loved “Friends” but The Big Bang Theory proved me wrong. I cried just as much in TBBT’s last episode than I did for Friends. Equally AWESOME. I would have loved to know Sheldon in real life. I adored him and the rest.

Everyone that did my buddy’s last scavenger hunt had a great time - best part was getting back and listening to all the crazy stories we had that came from collecting everything. But it was even cooler when my team WON!!
I swear this is one of the only times I can remember Leonard and Bernadette having a scene together with just the two of them. The same with Amy and Howard. It was nice to see these characters interacting with each other more since they didn’t get to often!

@@brianpratts In short, she wasn't that well written at times. At first she was a kindly girl, who had practical skills. Then she got meaner, more promiscuous, and it was emphasized that she was pretty much bad at everything including waitressing. Amy who used to be adoring of her, began to jeer at her a bit... and generally IMO they made the character more unlikable and more stupid.
I think this was because they reckoned the show was going to go on for longer than they had estimated and they had also found that Sheldon and Amy were the big couple rather than Leonard and Penny, so focus shifted to them and they just tried to keep the Leo and Penny story still on hold.. as they couldn't marry them off too soon...I suspect the show was originally intended to end with Penny and Leon getting married or having a baby.. but then in the end, they ended with Sheldon and Amy having a great success., But to keep Penny with something to do they gave her a rather implausible success as a pharm rep... but shifted to Shel and Amy...
Raj coming in like he just developed a cure for hunger. 😂
