  • WHAT IF POCHETTINO STAYS AS CHELSEA MANAGER FOR 24/25 SEASON... I've said that I don't think Pochettino is the right manager for Chelsea FC. However, If Pochettino remains Chelsea manager going into the 24/25 season, what does he need to change? Let me know your thoughts on Pochettino remaining Chelsea manager going into the 24/25 season!

@@DutyDynamorealistically mate the injuries aren’t his problem, we had this issue long before he came. Substitutions I can back, but he has also shown to have good in game management in some games, like the Villa game just gone. Some lineups have been dodgy but that mainly falls down to injuries and having no other options. Without Enzo who else do we have in that position? It’s all well and good saying Gallagher now, but no one rated him in the 8 before these last few weeks so he can’t win? I’m not fully sold on Poch but we’d be crazy to sack him now and waste a whole year of progress. We’re improving and we need time to get even better. George, I admire this story, there is a lot to learn looking at the training regimes. However, I can feel in my bones that something is really bubbling under the water.
You must see it too, and we must thank Poch for creating this vibe. We all know that this looks like a good team it just needs time and I think Poch will continue building.
You yourself said Caicedo had the best game in a Chelsea shirt, Conor Gallagher can be our Captain for another 5 years, Enzo will be massive when we emerge. So there you have it, best midfield, full stop. Such a pity we got rid of Kova, and even Barkley, they could have really taught these young guys a lot. Scrap the stuff about centre forwards we've got enough. Jackson will do for 10 years, he's playing like Havertz already. Gusto, Chilly, Alfie, Cucurella, James a squad of attacking fullbacks the envy of every club in the EPL and every one of them ready to die for our shirt.
Sort out the central defenders (it's coming), sort out the wide-outs, and leave Palmer where he is. This is a great looking team for the future.
So for me, unlike you, although the COnference League might seem mundane, to give a young squad the experience in travelling constantly, with a heavy fixture load, and international football, often playing against teams coached to a really high level. Bring it on, let them learn together.
    Just my thoughts.

Playing Chilwell as a winger in the beginning of the season and Colwill as a left back, even though he got skinned game after game after game, not even giving Maatsen a chance to pay as a left back, while he is now in a Champions League semi final, not telling categorically to the owners that we need at least one more striker with Jackson for the second part of the season, when we have Broja and Fofana on loan, not giving Mudryk starts in the games after he scores, not using Madueke enough even though he's pkayed well most of the time he's had the chance to, not using Chukwumeka enough while Gallagher playing 90 min as a number 10, etc. But his greatest chokes are the Carabao cup loss to an academy Liverpool team and the total humiliation against Arsenal after such a spiritless performance. I think blaming Poch is completely wrong. Lack of experience in the dressing room is what needs addressing. You listen to Lampard, Terry, Drogba or numerous others from the past 20 years, the slightly older experienced players set the tone. They regulated the dressing room, set standards, let the young players know what it means to play for the club. Who does that when the whole dressing room is these young players needing guidance? That's why you see the penalty fiasco and the outbursts at full time against Villa, the manager cannot control everything 100% of the time, you need need leaders in the dressing the room making sure the culture is maintained.

Poch has progressed this squad with the most injuries any squad has had. Injuries aren’t new, poch has been patient bringing them back even with pressure from fans. We were 12th last year, we’re almost certainly not finishing below 8th this season. Scored 38 goals last season and although at the detriment of defending this season , we have now scored 63 so far this season. When we play the big teams we generally have matched or been better with the exception of Arsenal and Liverpool away. The problem is you either are in denial and expecting the standards of yester year without any reason to expect that from the youngest squad in Europes top 5 leagues. Or you are in reality, and can see this has been progress this year , things are still not perfect , the manager has publicly said what he needs is the experience to add to the youngsters. You all want him sacked but because that become the popular narrative which was always coming whenever he lost a game because of his spurs roots. He’s building something, rivals want us to fail. We keep ripping up and starting again, players , managers in future will never come. And we will only ever see the odd trophy rather than the dominance we want to replicate like Man City. Stick with the manager

Tuchel, honnes, amorim, Alonso, mourinho and many others so by the time we panic and realise thing's are actively getting worse under the spurs man we're gonna go panic and go get some mediocre manager who Roman would never have hired. Never forget potch said this season he wants to have his players feel like they're playing 3 games a week with how intense his training is and now we have an injury crisis and let's not forget when he said trophies don't mean anything they only build egos that's who you guys want to keep. I think we should expand our squad to between 28 and 30 knowing that one third of that list won’t be available for the season😂. Players like Hutchinson, Santos, Hunphries some academy boys and maybe Jackson if we get a proper striker can be useful to prosecute the early stages of the conf league and also serve as back up for next season. We can’t do the whole season with 25 player squad we currently run. We need to expand a bit more with some quality youngsters who can also step in for EPL games when we have injuries. If you look to the past, many of the managers at the club were liked by the players, but once results stopped happening the heads of the club made the decisions, even when the players still played for them.

Obviously, Silva and Trev were not ready to go again. Also, you can't just make up what Poch thought and said at halftime v Arsenal and Villa! The measure I take of the manager is that he has taken points and often outplayed all of the top 4, particularly City 3 times! All with 10 players missing every week and no spine to the team. There is no Cech, Terry, Lampard.Kante or Drogba in this team mate. Just a bunch of kids. As for him being too soft on the players, who knows? He's not gonna ball them out in public.
